Honestly wasn’t expecting much but it’s actually pretty good. It smells really nice (not too strong) and his hair feels super clean after using it. He said it doesn’t dry his scalp out like some other shampoos do, which is a win. If you’re looking for a simple everyday shampoo for guys, this one’s actually solid.

Simple, Smells Good, and Works

I had my husband, who thankfully is always up for a challenge, use the Dove Men+Care Charcoal + Clay Shampoo for a week, and then let me know his thoughts. He said, "I enjoyed using it, as it lathered well, and it smelled nice. It cleaned my scalp, and my hair was not greasy at all after using it. I also used it as a body wash, even though I know it is just a shampoo, and since it worked fine, I will probably just use it for both hair and body in the future. My only negative is that I wish the bottle was shorter and more "stout" in shape instead of tall and thin, because I have a tendency to knock tall bottles off the shelf when I am in the shower. But it's not a big deal." I asked him if he would be willing to purchase it in the future, either for himself, or for our 19 yr old son who is in college, and he said, "oh yeah, for sure." So there you have it. From my perspective as a woman, scent is important to me, and so I opened the bottle and took a whiff, and it smells great. Smells Great and Works Well

It has a manly smell, sort of like a men’s cologne. This shampoo left my hair and scalp feeling extremely clean. I highly recommend this shampoo.

Great smell

After months of using the same shampoos, two men in our household, decided to try this product. It was too heavily scented for their liking. It worked fine… Did the job. But we wouldn't try it again. It would be great if companies offered sample packs before we have to purchase a large bottle, which we just gave away to a friend.
