My husband works hard and spends a lot of time outside working under the sun. He does not wear cologne or other scented products. This deodorant smells amazingly clean and fresh even after a long day. I have this on auto-ship just so I don't forget. We have tried other scents in this line and they are good but this is my favourite and my husband agrees.

It Smells Great!

I am awarding this deodorant 5 stars because I have been using it for some time now, and I am delighted with its lasting protection and pleasant but not overwhelming aroma! We are a dove product household for all of our toiletries (Women and Men's). So certainly I would not hesitate to recommend this deodorant to you!

PS: Guys, wearing Dove products has prompted two women that I happened to be seated beside to whisper "You smell nice...would you like to sit with me for the luncheon after the talk??"!!

Hey, Guys Listen Up!!

I love the smell of dove. You can never go wrong. Smells fresh and clean. It feels real good when applied to the arm pit and its gentle. Me being a female i still wear it because I work outside and when I sweat it still works great.

My husband loves this deodorant. It feels soft when you apply it, it doesn't stain your clothes and it does what it's supposed to do. Very good deodorant stick.

Best Deodorant on the Market

Looking for deodorant that would not be too strong for 12 year old son, this is it. It has a nice scent that is not overpowering and gentle for his skin.

Effective, but not too strong

I love everything except for the packaging. The "push-up" base needs to be a different color than the product. It's hard to tell when you're actually out.

This is NO WHERE NEAR 24 hour let alone 72 hour protection. This is exactly what it says:

"Now swipe an even layer over dry underarms for 72-hour protection from odor. Reapply whenever you need long-lasting freshness, comfort and confidence."

Doesn't sound like it's 72 hour protection if you need to constantly reapply. I work in a hybrid office/warehouse and have a mix of responsibilities. Sometimes I'm working in the heat/humidity, someitmes 100% A/C. From the time I've showered it's 7am, apply a generous amount of deodorant (not anti-perspirant) and don't get home again until about 4:30pm. Now, within that 9.5 hour window, I'm about 7-7.5 hours in and check my pits only to find it's wearing off already, and I haven't even worked up a sweat. Surely, I wore too tight a shirt and it's rubbed off. Next day I wear a looser fitted shirt, same results. NOT happy. I work around so many people I cannot be worrying about do I stink or not... Unacceptable. It's not like I'm morbidly obese by any means, and I'm not going to try and mask a smell with loads of body spray, either. Old Spice Aluminum Free deodorant does not have this problem, why is this so bad???

Only wear if you're around the house, NOT public.

Used the old product happily for many years. With the recent change in ingredients,  it irritates my skin and is no longer effective for a day, let alone 72 hours. I've gone everywhere looking for the old formula, I'll have to find a new brand. Goodbye from a loyal, long-term customer.

Why did you change the Dove Men's Clean Comfort Deodorant? It was great before, but now you ruined it by changing the formula. It is very sticky now and the scent is horrible.

Please change the scent back to the old formula! I loved when my husband wore the old scent. I wished it was a cologne because it smelled so good. I even started wearing it. The new scent is bad. I'll be finding a different kind now.
