This is the only deodorant I use. I am very sensitive to smells and this deodorant smells good going on but the scent isn't strong enough that I smell it throughout the day.  I also don't smell myself throughout the day, even after working out, because this product works so well. It doesn't feel sticky or anything either. 10/10

I have been using Dove Original for years. It keeps me dry with a gentle scent, that's not too strong.  I am very sensitive to smells and unable to tolerate any floral scents.  I recently ran out and used my daughter's competitive brand made my underarms sticky.  No stickiness noted with Dove, feel nice and fresh with it.

Dove for the Win

This was my deodorant I have used for years  I loved it it worked amazing  now the past two I bought smell different and it works different if they were to switch it back to how it used to be.  Best deodorant. But I can't stand the almost  flower or sweet smell of it smh come on dove. Don't change the original smh

Don't fix what's not broken

This deodorant would be good for someone who doesn't sweat much and has very low body odor. The scent smells wonderful at first but quickly fades into a not so pleasant smell. It does make my armpits quite soft and doesn't irritate my skin, but it just doesn't do enough in the odor department. I wouldn't get this again, but it may be a good deodorant for a child.

It's Just "Okay"

this is not my day to day but the times when i do use this as back up it is well performing and keeps me fresh throughout the day. dove is always my go-to for deodorant.

I've used this for over 20 years and recently purchased it in bulk to stock up, but no where in the listing did it state that the formula and scent had change. This new scent is so strong and flowery that it triggers my migraines and the new formula is making my under arm skin red and it also works terribly now. I need to apply by mid day, when I used to smell fresh all day. I do not have an active job where I sweat a lot. I want a refund and this was false advertising

New formula and scent with zero heads up

I've used original clean dove deodorant for 20 years. I immediately searched “what changed” after applying it today and saw the feedback from tons of users commenting on the smell. The smell is truly so awful and far from “original.” People choose original because they DON'T want some crazy artificial fruity/floral smell and unfortunately that's what this is. It's so so bad that I'm about to shower twice to get it off my skin because it's giving me a terrible headache. Huge disappointment and pretty unhappy they didn't mention the scent changed in the packaging. I have a 2 pack that's going straight to the garbage because I can't handle the smell. It's permeating my whole house.

Lost a 20 year customer

I have been buying the Dove Original Deodorant for 20+ years. After trial and error in high school, this was the only deodorant that would not cause my underarms to become severely inflamed. Unfortunately, Dove decided to change the formula and I had a severe reaction to the new version. A steroid shot and steroid cream later, it's been 2 weeks and it's slowly starting to get better. Very disappointed. If anything, it would have been nice to clearly label "New Formula" or something so those of us with sensitive skin could easily be made aware. Dove has lost a 20+ year customer.

Beware of Formula Change - Severe Reaction

I do not like this new formula. Its smells diff goes on diff and doesn't stop sweat or odor. Its awful. Its not as thick and is thin and slippery and goes on and stays wet. Used to protect 72 hrs now barely lasts 6. So disappointed.

It's been a few months on my “Dove Strike”. So, I broke down and bought it hoping that they would've reformulated it back to the ORIGINAL CLEAN SCENT that I'd loved for years…I was WRONG and I WASTED MY MONEY AGAIN!!!
