I love the scent of Downy, April fresh. Had to stop using liquid fabric softener, it was gumming up the washer after years of use. Told to use a squirt of cleaning vinegar ( Dollar Store )
So, I put these beads in with the wash because I LOVE the scent of Downy April Fresh. 
I get the smiles from smelling it on my clothes and it does not hurt anything.
NOTE: 
Bit expensive, but it lasts a long time, only one person now. I take my smiles where I can.

They leave clothes smelling light, crisp, and long-lasting with that classic fresh-laundry scent. I find myself washing my face several times just to enjoy the refreshing clean scent even more.

This scent they should conder making a plug in, air freshener, dish  washing liquid or candle out of it is such a perfect calming effect, like sitting out in a rose garden on a sunny day and slight breeze.

It makes you sheets, clothing or whatever you are using it for, along with the Tide detergent makes a big smile

It has a light but lasting effect

These beads smell heavenly. I use this scent on my families clothing and they love it. The scent is long lasting. I’ve never noticed any residue on clothes or my front load washer. I love to pair these beads with the tide April fresh detergent and the downy April fresh fabric softener.

These make your clothes smell so good!! I combine mine with a downy dryer sheet and oh my!!! You can smell mine for weeks!!!!

I love the smell. I love the product. I just wish that they would use less bottle being that it is not filled all the way to the top granted I get it. It settles and it's gonna be some gap between the lid and the bottle with the product in it, however when there is like a 3 inch gap from the product to the lid I just feel like that's a waste or it just makes me feel like I'm getting cheated out of product. Besides, we’re wasting a lot of plastic and when you live in the area like Myself where there’s not many places to recycle that plastic becomes a pollutant

The beads work really well, and I have no complaints there.  I only gave them a 4 start because they did not work any better than the liquid, but the cost is much more.  I will be returning to the liquid.  The scent beads cost $16 and you get 24 oz's of beads - not very many loads.  I can bury the liquid for $10 and get up to 120 loads.  No brainer - going back to the liquid.  I mix with a little water before putting into the machine to keep the spots at a minimum.

Going back to liquid.  Same outcome-less cost.

Love these fireworks! They give a fresh/clean scent that's different from the typical Fresh Sheet, Soft Linen, Cotton, or Shower Fresh smell. I use about  tablespoon for a load of laundry, whether it's towels, bedding, or day-to-day clothes, and it's the right amount of "the scent is obviously there" but not "Wow! That's way too strong/overpowering." I haven't noticed it softening my clothing, but I haven't been specifically looking for that either.

New * Improved Version of "Fresh Clean" Scent

it, doesn't dilute completely in the washing machine cycle. your clothes come Staind, I pre dilute in a cup with water and pour it in the washing machine before inserting clothing.

ALTHOUGH I LOVE THE SCENT OF DOWNEY APRIL FRESH BEADS, I AM DISAPPOINTED IN SPENDING $17.09 ON THIS FABRIC SOFTENER BECAUSE IT DOESN'T LEAVE ANY STRONGER OF AN ODOR ON CLEAN CLOTHES TAKEN OUT OF THE DRYER THAN VERY INEXPENSIVE FABRIC SOFTENERS.  I WILL RETURN TO BUYING MY OLD FABRIC SOFTENER FROM WALMART.
