This works really well for removing tough odors from clothes. It leaves everything smelling fresh without being too strong. I like that it helps with deeper cleaning, especially for work clothes.

Easy to use and definitely makes a difference. I would buy it again.

I absolutely hate the price they want for a large site bottle like this %26 or doesn't have very clear direction on use per load. It just says start with 1/3 cup. I also don't like the lid. it had a pull tab when you open it but I don't recommend pulling it. instead just unscrew the lid bc if the bottle is sitting on the counter or washer and falls, it will spill all over. the weight of the product %26 force when it lands on the ground makes the lid pop open %26 the product gushes our all over %26 the price they want when not on sale make this very upsetting. Also idk exactly what they ingredient is but as small amounts of it drip on the bottle %26 will build up a residue around the cap and looks awful( idk why but it reminds me of sugar water) if you would it off with a paper title it feels gritty like undisloved sugar water. This product is great at getting tough odors out of clothing especially anything that says not to use fabric softener on. great for things dogs use or just a smelly family members cloths. With this product you can get rid of things like oxy odor eliminator, Lysol laundry sanitizer, sent booster crystals (that never really dislove all the way in could water). it doesn't have or  give your cloths a strong fragrant sent like you would get from fabric softener %26 or doesn't help with static cling but your dad's stinky work socks won't smell after washed. the price is ridiculous though and I've yet to try cheaper generic brands like from the Dollar general to see if they work as well but I do plan on it. What drives me nuts about this the most is how it opens with the pull thing and not closing well (easily spilled even with lid on) %26 the residue build up that happens where you put and it drips. you'll see it around the threads where the lid screws on, steaks off or running down the bottle, accumulating on the bottom leaning a mark where ever you normally set it, even down the side of your washer or dryer even if you think it's not a lot spilled when it dries it'll stick out more.

Can’t live without this product! I just wished Downy would make It In a bigger container like the Downy softener 190 loads are, that would be great because I’ve go through 2/3 a month but If they was bigger containers I nor no one would have to buy 2-3 a month .

Can’t live without this product

One family member works in a deli where he cooks fried chicken and Chinese food. This is the only the product I have found that gets the smell out of his clothes!  You don't have to use much to get great results.

Great rinse out for your laundry. Makes your clothes smell good and feel nice. I love using this with my towels and work clothes. I would definitely buy this again.

Love the scent of this one! Leaves our towels and sheets smelling great, though I often wish the scent lasted longer, after being in the cabinet for a day or two the scent seems to disappear, they still smell fresh but not just washed strong, scented.

Clean and fresh without the perfumey smell

My husband works in the oil fields. his work clothes are absolutely disgusting and tend to leave an "ick" residual smell within our washer, even after dedicated machine cleaning. Since using Downy rinse out, we have no smell left within the machine.
Also, for "regular" clothes, the smell is not overpowering, yet helps to keep all clothing smelling fresh for multiple days with the closets and dressers.

Wonderful product I will continue to use!

I use this instead of fabric softener, in combination with free %26 clear detergent, to help my clothes smell nice and fresh. It doesn’t make me itch. Only downside is that it will occasionally leave a greasy looking spot on my clothes, but that spot does go away the next time it’s washed.

Smells great

This is not a  fabric softener. However this absolutely will remove all and any bad odor from your clothes and towels. Hands down best odor fighting product for your laundry.

I had a horrible reaction to the fragrance/fragrance carrier in this stuff.  I've rewashed everything multiple times; the smell is still there and has now spread to other items via the washing machine/dryer.  Ridiculous that it won't come out.  If you're going to make a "long lasting scent"  you need to make a product that strips it out.I rated this 1 star - it's was bumped up  to 2 stars
