The best kitty litter without overwhelming toxic, chemical fragrances, which are injested into cat's lungs.  This is also a low tracking litter with minimal dust.  Very good odor control but like any kitty litter, it must be scooped daily.  Overall, is a top brand.

I've used this for years. Always rated “best cat litter”. At 77, the 40lb bags are getting a bit much, so the half-size boxes are welcomed. 2 -20lb boxes at Walmart's sale price (<$10ea) cost less than 1-40lb bag at pet stores, so great product at a fair price, when purchased on sale.

This product changed my life! I saved 2 siblings and was struggling with the odor and messiness from the litter. Then I flund Dr. Elsey's, now it's hard to tell I have multiple cats, and this litter is light weight, which helps to reduce the mess, and lastly, it's  PuuuuRFECt for automatic litter boxes ! This product is on automatic subscription for sure!

I've tried so many cat litters. This one is like a miracle. I have a small apartment, I don't smell the cat box, and the litter itself has no odor, clumps well, very low tracking compared to any other brand I've tried. I will only buy this brand from now on. I am very pleased.

I will admit again I probably would not have tried this product had it not been for the for many years trend that's happens when you begin to purchase regularly Walmart's brand of products they start to be out of them every time you place an order for example their pasta sauce their pasta some of the canned goods the sticky buns now the donuts every time like the last four times I've tried to get a 12 pack of donuts they said they didn't have any and it was first thing in the morning it's ridiculous they're hot dog buns and hamburger buns anyway so that has now begun to happen because I normally buy the 40 lb box of their scented brand that is I think 12 or $14 for 40 lb this is only I think what a 10 or 20 lb box for $10 so it's not as good of a value but it does work just as well so I recommend the product but if you're on a budget then there are better options if they're available ever again step it up Walmart that's getting really old and disappointing and it's been happening for 2 or 3 years now

Works just as good as the more expensive brands

Overall a very good Fragrance Free Clumping Cat litter, 4.5 stars. Despite being fragrance free does very good job of odor control in the small space where I have to put the litter box for my senior cat. Clumps pretty well. Fair on dust like most cat litters, but not as bad as some . I find the box a bit hard to handle, being odd shaped and 20 pounds. It also has to be shipped, no pickup. Very sturdy box though. So far I have been very pleased with Dr Elseys litterbox products.

Overall very good Fragrance Free Clumping litter

The box opening is the problem. If you open it, make sure to pull out the little flap if you want it to pour before your arms give out. I bought two of these once, and one box was opened up... what a mess. And I'm still scratching my head about HOW the top pulled away from this very well designed and sturdy little box.

Order One, but not Two

My three cats began to cough and sneeze when using this litter. When it ran out, I changed back to my former cat litter, (  which I really didn't care for because I think they changed the formula, and was no longer clumping) I will still be looking for a new litter.

The cat litter does clump but oh man does it make my cats urine smell horrible! I have a litter robot. After 2 days I had to dump the tray in stead of every 7 as it smelled so bad. I even bought a deoderizer to see if that helped. It did not. So other than clumping well that is it. I have 2 cats and it still tracked dust. That is a given really with any litter

Made the smell worse

I bought this product last week to change to a "better" clumping litter. I have been using Cat's Pride and has worked well for me and for my kitty. Unfortunately, Dr. E's litter is not 99.9% dust free as it is advertised. For being a 0.01% dust it is a lot of dust compared to Cat's Pride. I will finish using this litter but I won't buy again. We don't use robo or enclosed litter boxes and can't imagine using this litter in such environment with the amount of dust.  You can see the cloud of dust when scooping the waste. I have never had such amount of dust in the 4 months I have my kitty until now.  The whole area where I have my litter box is so dusty, I have to wipe the surfaces every day  and this is the first time I see my kitty sneezing when going to the box. I fell for the good reviews, but my experience with this litter is not the same as those 5 star reviews.  Odor control is not there either, it has been a couple of days since I changed the whole box and it already smell musty.
