This toy is like a security blanket for my son. The tail was a problem at first because it comes off easily but after a little glue it is great. My son drags it everywhere, sometimes using it as a bat or hockey stick. It still works! He is two and loves it! I have not replaced the batteries and it is still going strong after seven months. I bought another to have in reserves because he is so rough with it, but the thing is like a tank.

Wonderful, after adjustments!

Excellent purchase.

This is a great toy. It walks and moves. Makes noise that sound real.
The only thing that keeps it from being a 5* is the battery casing doesn't seem to HDTV the batteries properly and you have to shake it to get it to start moving. The batteries that came with it did not work. Other than that he loves the toy and is very excited to at with it.
P.S it was to be shipped to my house but went to a store 30monutes away. It was the oh one left or I wouldn't have driven to Ho get it.
Has anyone else mentioned an issue with the battery casing?

Great toy for toddlers

My son loves this big dinosaur. It's eyes light up, its head moves when it roars, and it slowly walks forward making a stomping noise. It seemed like a bargain for under $20.

Fun for 5 year old

My kids love this Dinosaur. However, the tail comes disconnected in the box. You have to snap in place. The problem is that every time my boys pick up their dinosaur the tail snaps off again. They ran up to me every two minutes asking me to fix the tail. It's not always easy to snap on either. ( There is a wire in the way ) It's pain in the you know what. Anyway. My solution was to wrap black electrical tape around the tail. Problem solved for now.

The tail is the problem!

My son loved this and loved playing with it but after a month the plastic tabs that keep the tail on broke. The tail will not stay on so the t-rex can't stand up. Big bumber because he loved playing with it.

tail broke

I bought this dinosaur for my grandson because he loves dinosaurs and he loved the noise this one makes. When I got it home I had problems removing it from the package. It was screwed into some big plastic shipping parts. Weird.
After 4 days the batteries it came with ran down.

The main problem with this toy is that the tail won't stay on. The tail is where the batteries are kept. You have to attach the tail when you take the toy out of the packaging. The tail is connected by a wire cable and clips onto the rest of the body. The tail won't stay clipped on. The moment you bump it or play with it, it comes off. My grandson comes up to me constantly to have me re-attach the tail. That tail should have been an attached part of the body.

Poorly thought out toy. Tail won't stay connected.

This toy looks and acts great! However this toy has become a part time job for me. Every min my son runs up and We have to attach the tail. They should have thought this thru better. The tail pops off for every little thing. GUYS this is a BOYS toy. there is nothing soft about them, so if you are willing to sit there and pop the tail back in every 2 min this toy is for you. If you have other things to do while your toddler plays I recommend something else.

Dislike this Toy so much
