I buy all of his perfume .I want him to smell manly so we always go for a musk with a nice hint of woods. This DRAKKAR ESSENCE is perfect for us! This fragrance has is an irresistible blend of spearmint, lavender, and sage that collides with the warm and vibrant base of dry woods, musk, and tonka bean - resulting in a statement-making sophistication. It smells great! The bottle itself is a beautiful shade of dark blue with white lettering of DRAKKAR ESSENCE in white. It is a spray bottle which is what my husband loves. He is very happy with DRAKKAR ESSENCE and we both recommend buying it for the special man in your life. Perfect birthday or holiday gift . It would also be the perfect first perfume for a young man!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Drakkar Essence Spray shipped in perfect condition and is protected well inside it's box. Drakkar Essence spray has a long lasting, sexy, masculine aroma. The bottle is small but very long lasting. One short spray is all you need as any more of it would probably be too strong. The aroma really does stay with you all day. This is a spray for any age man, young or old. Great for the office, church, or a romantic night out...just remember, a little goes a long way. Mostly a woodsy aroma with hints of musk and sage. I remember a day when rarely a man's cologne came in spray bottles, as usually they were splash. Today, I think most men prefer spray bottles in colognes. The bottle design and color (dark blue glass with black lid) is a nice masculine appearance that sits well on any dresser or vanity in addition to compact enough for a travel bag. Affordable as it does last a very long time. Colognes and perfumes are a personal matter as everyone is different and 'Drakkar Essence Spray' is worth trying if you never have. You might find you like it very well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was another Spark Review item that I thought might appeal to my teenaged grandson. I showed him that I chose this Drakkar Essence Spray For Men, just for him. I got a smile for that one.

When my Spark Review package was delivered, I set the Drakkar Essence Spray For Men aside till he came home from school. He was tickled to receive it too, and opened it right away.

Once he sprayed a light amount on himself, I was able to see what it smelled like. And I must say, it smelled very nice! Not too strong for the younger generation or teens. We both liked it's soft scent.

My opinion and his...we give five stars. He's one happy lad to have some adult smelling cologne spray. We LIKE it!!!

A manly scent even a teenager will wear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Drakkar Essence Spray for Men, is and intriguing fragrance. The cologne for me was a great choice for my husband. He has many different brands of cologne that he wears daily. Today he tried the Drakkar Essence Spray for Men and he immediately love the scent and so did I. I thought the name was dark and mysterious be it actually seems soft and sensual. It was a fragrance that I love to smell on him now. It is definitely one of the top bands we will be purchasing. The mixture of spearmint, lavender, and sage created an awesome scent that seems to go well with work, church and everyday. The Drakkar Essence Spray for Men makes a bold statement but is not overbearing and focuses attention on the man with the scent not the scent of the man. The cologne is a scent that can be used for young men just starting out wearing cologne or men that have been wearing cologne for many years. This is a scent that helps this man present confidence in a well-rounded way. The cologne is also now one of my favorites for my husbands it did so much to complete the look of the day. I would suggest this scent to everyone.

Drakkar Essence Spray For Men

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this for my brother's 62nd birthday and he loves it! I'm sure hoping he will meet a beautiful lady soon who will like it, too :-) There's just something about a good looking man, walking into a room, wearing a woodsy, aromatic fragrance. At first spray it seems a little fruity, but shortly after, blends of sage, white musk, lavender, dry woods, and the tonka bean abound. I was curious about the tonka bean, because I read it has been banned in the USA since 1954, for food consumption (contains very small amounts of coumarin-too much can damage liver). Seems strange because cinnamon, licorice, and lavender also contain small amounts of coumarin, and are legal.
The perfume man who signed this, Michel Girard of Givaudan, says it best, "This fragrance is about strengthening the person carrying the fragrance, and also about self confidence when wearing it."
One ounce may not look like much, but it sure lasts long, and well worth the price :-)

VERY MANLY WOODY MUSK FRAGRANCE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a cologne that is different and unique, this might be the one for you. First, the packaging says "expensive" all the way. Would make a nice gift for a man who has everything from a person who has a limited budget. Not something to be worn everyday, but when getting dressed up and going out, this is the perfect accent. Although it is only one ounce, you only need a tiny spray and it lasts all night. The smell is very nice but I cannot compare it to anything. Its very masculine. I have worn this a couple of times when going out to dinner and received positive comments both times. My wife really likes it and likes me to wear it often, so I sometimes wear it even when I am staying home just to please her. If you like high end colognes, I would recommend that you give this a try. It is worth the price.

The scent is not too strong that it overwhelms you or anyone around you and

DISTINCTIVE MANLY SCENT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice scent. Although it really has nothing on the original Drakkar for me. It does smell good, it's a bit fruity smelling (like grapefruit) but only when it's first applied. As the spray soaks into the skin it does smell more musky which is more along the lines of what I like on my husband. The scent is more subtle so it's good for daily use without it being overpowering. It lasts throughout the day too. My husband sprayed it on in the morning and before his shower I could still smell it faintly. Some body sprays seem to wear off during the day but this is definitely a lasting scent.

Overall we like this spray and would recommend it to others.

Nice Fragrance
