I have a 1 year old very hyper lab and we finally found a gate she cannot jump over or knock down! The gate swings both ways and is wide enough for carrying laundry baskets through! i would recommend this to anyone with a strong dog that likes to jump or any parent with busy babies, no worries they cannot get anything stuck in the railing and they also extend!

Great gate. We already had one that worked well to keep our one dog partitioned in the kitchen when we left the house. We bought another one for a new dog for a separate area, and he was able to jump it right away and they were so great with their return policy and allowing us to return the second gate. This is a great gate for narrow openings, and it's also the tallest narrow gate that we found out there, which is a great thing (and I'd say good for most dogs, this second dog just happens to be an amazingly high jumper ... ) Study, well made gate, easy to install (we only used the tension installation and it works well).

Great gate, great customer service

We bought one of these for our first child 4 years ago and needed another one to match. We love our gates. They go very nice with our home decor and are functional to keep the kids in safe areas.  Also, we had a problem with the first gate shipped and customer service was excellent at reconciling. Thanks!

Classy and functional

Perfect for the 24" bathroom door width in my 80 yr old house. Door does swings both ways. The latch was confusing me but I followed directions, reading them several times,  and it worked when I did what it said. Tightening was a bit hard in the small space with or without their tool. It's a little taller than the wooden gate I had.

I bought this gate because it was the ONLY one I could find that was small enough to fit the 24-inch opening I needed to block.  This doesnt open as easily as other gates I purchased from another company, but that wasn't a deal breaker.  My main objection is the color.  This gate only comes in white.  My other gates (within view of this one) are dark bronze, so this stands out and throws off the whole look.  As I said, I bought it because, after spending a lot of time searching, it was the only one I could find that was small enough for the opening.

Wish This Gate Came in Other Colors

It was difficult to find a gate that fit our narrow stairway in our old home but this one fits perfectly. My only complaint is that it takes some effort to get the latch to lock

Perfect size

Bought this gate for a mischievous dog. Needed to keep her upstairs at night and not getting into the kitchen garbage or other areas of the home. Out of sight with this one is worrisome. Installed at top of stairs. The gate was easy to put up and used the little cups for added measure. Would really like to see cups with a wider spread. I feel they would provide better security but I can buy them on amazon. Do like the automatically closing feature so I can't 'forget' to check it. It's been a couple of months now, so far so good. We shall see how this holds in time to a dog that wants to dig in the garbage to access all the hidden treasures.

Neither the bannister adaptors or the flat wall attachments are working on the 8 inch round centerpost of spiral staircase…… disappointed….. hoping You will respond to solve this

I have been in touch with manufacturer one year warranty guarantee and they won't honor it. Their stance is always the same (as in some responses) that it is installed wrong by consumer. The gate is spring loaded to stay open. it will stay open one way, but not the other. The hold back point is worn down after two months of installation. That means it WAS working. Now it is not. this has nothing to do with the installation. one critical piece is made of plastic and it did not hold up at all.
