I've gotten this as a gift over and over again for baby showers.  I think it's smart because new Mom's are sleep deprived and don't need to worry about the bath water being too hot or cold at 2 a.m. when the baby has a blow-out.lol! Great gift idea!!!

The thermometer is easy to use and read. The red and green light also help you know when the water temperature is good for your little one. I've had it two months and have yet to need to change the battery. The cuteness is an added bonus!

Every child should have a yellow rubber duck, especially one that is also a safety tool. Easy to use and reliable. Great shower gift.

Second time buying one for my grand children!

I bought this thermometer because I want to be able to know if the water is too hot or not hot enough for my little one. It tells the temperature of the room as well. I love that it beeps and has a red light if the water is too hot. It has saved us a lot of guessing. My little one loves that it's a duck too.

I bought this along with other baby items, for a gift basket.  I have not given it yet.  But as far as the description of what it does - seems to be a handy tool for baby care.

At first everything was fine, but the battery drained very quickly, literally within the first month, and it's impossible to replace it. I just can't open the battery cover — I've tried everything. It's completely stuck and won't open at all.

Buyer beware, battery compartment is not water tight. After only 4 uses I was a little surprised that the batteries appeared dead. Opened up and found the batteries were rusted and wet.  At least I hope it was rust and not battery acid. Also noticed that most of these 5 star reviews are from people who got the product for free so they lose all credibility for me. Some of the reviews also stated the batteries were AAA's but mine takes two LR44's. It may have been redesigned and maybe I received the defective version?
