We bought this 3D printer for our son's 14th birthday.  He is super thrilled and happy.  He is constantly printing up new creations.  This incredible machine has opened up a whole new world for him.  We feel like this 3D printer is allowing our son to be creative and by connecting it to his computer he is able to make all kinds of interesting items.

I used the Dremel product for years now and have finally bought one of my own. It was so easy to set up and follow the instructions, anyone can do it. The first few prints were okay, but as I continued printing, the quality of the prints were great! 
It is super quiet and super convenient to use, it even came with a free usb that I didn't even know about. Also 4 rolls of filament for free! Wow!

Easy setup and Excellent printing quality!

We've had this for a couple months now, so I feel pretty confident in giving it a decent review now.  I purchased this for a high school classroom using PLTW curriculum for IED. This printer is the easiest for our students to use independently; stl design files easily import into Dremel's design software and the onboard menu is very easy to navigate. Print quality is very good. The flex plate on this printer works surprisingly well and we don't have to use any adhesive tape to get the models to release. 
The only issues I notice are minor and involve the filament- when changing filament, the old color is never fully purged and you have to run through the process twice to get the new color. Also, after a print is finished, the printer head returns to the back corner of the unit. Often, after sitting in this location overnight, the filament will break right above the printer head due to the angle it's at. Then we have to reload it to print again. This seems to be an issue with the Dremel filament.
Overall, a solid, easy to use printer for student use!

Great printer for PLTW classroom

Ive been using this printer for a week now and I have no complaints. It works super well for my business and everybody in the shop loves printing out all kinds of cool things.

Awesome printer!

Our new Engineering program bought this machine for their program. It has far surpassed expectations! Very easy and dependable for our students to use.

I bought this few weeks ago. I also bought 3D40 about three years ago. Dremel's 3d printer are very good quality. The support is great. A feature in the 3D40 Flex that made me buy it is the flexible bed. It is a game changer.

Great printer

I bought this 3D40-Flex printer a couple of weeks ago for my lab. While I've never used a 3D printer before, this one was so really easy to setup and to get it working. The flexible platform is a beauty for easy removal of the printed parts.

Excellent choice for beginners

Works just like it needs to. Easy to set up and the flex plate makes removing prints easy!
Highly recommend. We use this for extrusion planning before buying extrusions for our greenhouses and metal buildings.

Awesome!

We recently got it and so far no issues, have printed several things with no hiccups. We bought this because we wanted something that works out of the box and this is it! The semi-automatic leveling is a great feature which saves lots of time in the long run. Highly recommend!

Very easy to get started

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as a Christmas gift. It was easy to set up! I had my first print job going within 30min. So far I've printed several jobs of various sizes without any issue. I would definitely recommend this printer.
