I purchased this sewing box to hold essential sewing items. It has plenty of room for thread, scissors, etc.  The top is soft and  can  be used as a pin cushion.

Great  box for holding essential supplies

Absolutely perfect for me! I'm just now getting back into sewing after 50  years and needed to get organized. This sewing basket is gorgeous and well made.

Gorgeous and well made

Recently downsized and gave up my old antique aewing machine cabinet. I needed to store all my thread, needles, and sewing notions. This is great. I was afraid of the small size of so many others. This hold everyhing and is so cute!

The perfect sewing basket!

The construction is sturdy.  I like the depth of the sewing basket and also the sturdy plastic tray.  The handle makes for easy carrying and the closure is a magnetic snap which is fairly large and is handy.  The interior is nicely lined and has a built in pin cushion. The basket holds a lot of items.  The outer fabric on the lid has polyfil which is a nice addition.  I like it 100%.

A good purchase, utilitarian and well made.

Love this sewing basket. My gift to new brides is a sewing kit. So, they can fix a button, hem a pair of pants etc. nothing hard but handy and necessary.

Great bridal shower gift

Received the sewing basket earlier than expected. Very nice basket. Looks even better than picture. I haven't filled it up yet but it seems sturdy. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the trim around the base isn't attached well in some places but that might be due to the shape. I just worry it could get caught on something and be pulled off. Only time will tell. Tray was large enough for my pinking shears.

Love the size and pretty fabric exterior!

First the measurements were wrong- it (the actual box) was more like 2 inches less across.  Even just measuring the handle across as it sticks out further a bit, like over an inch than the box itself. I wanted a large one. It does hold a lot tho and really organizes my sewing stuff. I started a separate craft box because I have a lot and took out some things that I would say goes with crafting. It is very cute and seems good and sturdy. I would give 5 stars except for the size difference. I would buy again and do recommend it positively.
