Great Shower Chair for the Price!

I lost strength in my legs recently and needed to sit down during a shower. I used this tub bench for about 2 weeks until I could stand again for the whole shower.  The bench is compact and lightweight. It is easy to move around in the shower. The legs are easily adjustable to various heights. One concern is that the seat is a hard plastic surface. It can become slippery if you get soap on it. Sitting on a small towel would probably help that or just be careful with the soap.  It allows you to use a hand held shower head while you are sitting. It stores nicely in the product box until needed again.

Sturdy and Lightweight

The Drawbacks are not really the fault of the chair it is more of how your tub is designed. At the rear of my tub the bottom starts to rise slightly so you can lay comfortably so the chair has to be moved forward to stay off the slope to be stable putting it near the middle. It is a bit wide I will post pictures and the dimensions of my tub if they help. The chair itself is sturdy as all get out. The I finish with my shower I turn it upside down or lay it on its side to let the water beads on the top run off. The weight limit on the nit is 400 lbs and I do not doubt it. I weigh 320 and this does not budge I have even "wriggled" around on it to try to make it wobble while on a flat surface. It did not. All in all it is a great device.  My tube dimensions are 21.5 wide by 53 inch long.  As you can see in the picture having the chair set forward because the slope on the back of my tub and my tub is quite narrow it still fits. The legs will also rise I have mine set on the lowest setting possible to keep flush with the sides of my tub.

I love this chair it really helps me.

I needed this after an ankle surgery and was happy to find something so affordable since I only needed it for a short time. The chair was easy to put together and is made of quality materials. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the design isn't great for me. It slopes up slightly on each end, so since I had to put it in our tub the long way, I had to sit on it with by legs over the slope, which was not very comfortable. This won't matter if you have a very big/wide tub or are using it in a big shower.

Quality Item

I bought this because I was having to total knee replacement, I think if my shower stall was more flat and didn't have rounded edges it would have been fine but the bench did wiggle and I didn't feel 100% safe , all in all I do think the bench itself was good but my shower stall wasn't compatible with it

Shower Bench

Doesn't work if the shower isn't perfectly flat. Bought this to use after knee surgery, I'm about 175lb and this happened. Ordered a different brand that had an additional cross-brace between the legs. Luckily I was able to transfer to a chair outside of the shower without it completely failing, which would have been a very bad outcome.

Didn't hold up.

This seat was too wide for my tub area. Could not safely use it. Need to return it.

Return item improper fit.

I was having trouble understanding why I was getting rust stains in the shower. There is a steel washer in each or the rubber feet. Not stainless steel, not aluminum, but regular steel that rusts profusely. I contacted drive customer service at their website, left an inquiry, but they never replied. Terrible engineering, terrible customer service. Don't waste your money on a Drive stool.

Rusts like crazy.
