TBH I was expecting a crap radio (sorry Walmart ) but I'm amazed at how well it actually performs 
I'm basing my comparison off of my other radio which is a ILX-W650 from alpine which cost 450$ 
For 200 $ u can't go wrong

Honest review it's I run powerful subs so I wish there was more audio settings. I didn't want to pay what the other contenders want. This is a good radio love everything about it besides one thing I wish it had cross overs!

Great radio just needs more audio settings

My husband ordered it and he returned it because the back camera and other parts wasn't included with the media screen. also he researched and found a different brand that had a larger screen.. but he did find out basically all the media screen required extra parts you would need to get it installed.

It's a small bit laggy but so are most stereos. Is no perfect by any means but overall works great. Installed this in my 2016 Toyota Tacoma and I have everything I need with Apple CarPlay whether it's navigating Spotify or Apple Maps without having to look at my phone! Connects to Apple CarPlay almost instantaneously. Everything I need personally

Tiny bit laggy but works great!

The sound is great, good price and easy install. The only issue is with the bluetooth Android Auto connection. Even when directly plugged in, it defaults to the wireless connection. Even when settings are changed in my phone and the stereo, it reopens the wireless connection. And it tends to turn itself on over and over (when I try to put it on standby) as it detects my phone nearby - even when I've deleted my phone from the stereo settings, it adds it back. I suspect that I will have to remove the stereo and disconnect the wi-fi adapter to stop this behavior. I would like to be able to use wireless Android Auto but when I choose to, not be forced by the stereo (or the phone?) to use it and experience the slight audio delay that inevitably occurs on a wireless connection. Overall, a good stereo - except for  a subpar wireless connection.

Great, aside from one irritating flaw

Radio OS is slow.  When I tap an app on the Touch Screen it take almost 15 to 30 seconds to switch to the app.  Radio start up takes about as long.  WiFi connection to the phone has low siglnal and cuts out often, had to go into developer setting on my phone to disable it.  Tapping the AI button is slow and volume on it and Waze is very low.  If I had it to do over again, I would buy a more expensive brand and stay away from Dual.  

On the plus side, the sound out of the unit to my speakers is great.

Beware - Buy a better brand

When I installed it it worked great but I have to have the cord in to retain apple car play because it would just keep going back to the default screen

Install was easy.  Keeps loosing CarPlay connection.  First Dual unit I've owned.   Might return for another boss. Always have had good luck with them.

Get a Boss indtead

This is by far the worst car stereo I have ever owned. Touch is not accurate. The screen resolution is crappy. But the most frustrating part is that I cannot disconnect my phone from Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. I turn it off on my phone and it turns back on and reconnects. I turn it off on the stereo and IT TURNS RIGHT BACK ON. I am NEVER buying a Dual stereo ever again. I bought better stereo's on TikTok for $50.

Picked this up for my work vehicle. Purchased a Metra install kit and a wiring harness and thought this should be an easy install as I've done this job many times before. Took the dash apart, assembled the kit and soldered the harness together. When I attempted to mount the head unit into the kit I found it did not fit. Upon looking for a solution, I found these units are sized a few MM larger than a standard double din!  I'm not going to modify my kit or dash for this cheap unit to fit. Simply returned it and will buy a higher quality unit that actually fits.

It is slightly larger than a standard double din.
