I bought this because the previous purchases of tape had not been successfully at hearing to the surface that I needed. I really just wanted to repair the arm of my favorite chair which is a material that's consistent with leather. When I applied this, it felt like it was going to stay and so far it has remained in the same place that I put. That's all I wanted.

So far so great!  I have a patio swing chair with a canopy.  The canopy is weathered and fragile so that when I touched it it tore.  I used this T-Rex tape to make a repair.  So far it's holding up well in cold and wet weather.  I'm hoping it does well through the summer months.  I would definitely recommend it for fabric repairs.

Repaired a torn canopy really well

Discovered this last year around fathers day and was SUPER IMPRESSED compared to the close competition from another leading competitor. Does its job as described, easily torn and cut, UV resistant AND it sure does apply and stick to a wet surface when the directions are followed. I have used this on chairs, tail light and headlight lenses, rock chips in a windshield and even currently using it as a screen protector on my cracked phone. I never buy only 1 roll, I buy them in twos and never have to re-apply to a surface. 10/10 this Texan approves!

Beats the competition!

I used this tape to patch a hole in my grill cover, and it is still hold months after hot/cold/rainy weather in direct sunlight.  I also use it to fix a hole in my daughters inflatable pool.  This tape is very handy and appears form my applications to be durable as well.  I have been thoroughly impressed

Great practical and durable tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this tape is awesome. I had seen it on TV and wanted to try it and let me tell you this tape does not disappoint. Love the fact you can just use the tape without doing all the extras. You can use it wherever and you don't have to clean an object before you use it.

Awesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this tape on my brother's car to put together his side mirror. I had gotten knocked off and it was just hanging on this entire time. This tape is so much better than regular duct tape. We made it through a car wash and the mirror was still held up and attached to the car.

Super Heavy Duty

I bought this tape a year ago and have been using it to repair tarps, the lid hinges on locking food storage containers, etc. It is subjected to wet, cold, hot, UV - harsh tropical conditions here in Hawaii. It performs fabulously!  It holds, has stayed clear, the edges havenʻt lifted. It is tough as nails.  We love it!

Tropics-proof tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very thick tape which I really like. I had mix results regarding the repair strength of this. Depending on the surface, it was strong and other times not as much. If using on a wet surface make sure that it is very dry! Rough surfaces vary in strength of the tape as well. Overall great product though and I will continue to use on specific surfaces! I cannot speak to the long term durability yet!

T-Rex

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To me this product didn't standout as an overly strong tape nor did it withstand moisture for me.  This tape seemed to remind me of packaging tape and nothing more.  I made it three stars because I liked the thickness of the tape that made it a lot easier to get the tape off of the roll.

It's ok

The product did not work when trying to repair an outdoor hose pipe that had developed a leak. The pipe continued to leak.
