Can be sturdy, but also prone to defects or misshaping.

I couldn't figure out how to use it at first because I didn't see a cutting blade. Poor eyes. There is a small black plastic protector sleeve covering the blade right below the clear shield.  ** Be careful sliding cover off. Blade is shatp. Just don't forget to put the shield bk after use. Solid construction and just the right size for taping up big boxes.

I am always impressed by Duck manufacturers, they produce quality box tape that doesn't split while using. The Duck brand box tape is very user-friendly even when you forget to fold down a corner. Duck tape is easy to lift up from the roll so that you can continue taping. I will recommend Ducks and its manufacturers, it's a great buy. The box tape is very sturdy for packing.

Works perfectly and exactly as expected. The ergonomic handle is comfortable with a solid grip. I did notice a few reviews mentioning trouble with threading the tape, but honestly, these dispensers have had the same straightforward design for decades. If you're new to them, there are plenty of quick tutorials on YouTube (and even AI helpers these days) that make it a breeze. Once you see it done once, it couldn't be simpler.

Works Perfectly! Super Simple to Use!

what i don't like about tape gun it's Don't come with instructions on how to use or how to load the tape onto the gun itself .... which was very hard to figure out how used tape gun safety .... i had too search the internet for videos on how to properly use this product without getting hurt .... this why i giving very low ratting on this product .... i need tape gun too packing boxes for shipping .... gun its itself nice product but with no instructions was pain in neck go lookup ....

The tape that comes with this is so thin and terrible. The roller wrinkles the crappy tape when trying to roll it on because it allows it to slide sideways, even when you slow down and really keep it straight. I can't tell if the tape is the problem, or the roller, or a combo of both.

The tape is tissue paper thin. It is unusable. It can not hold its shape and twists when attempting to place on items.  It is essentially useless. You may be able to tape a 2 inch area before it twists whether using the appropriate dispenser or by hand. It will not hold a box together unless you tape over the same  areas multiple times... but expect to throw away most of it as it collapses on itself %26 twists  if you continue to dispense  more than an inch or two which renders it  unusable for packaging.

Paper thin, useless. Terrible. Do not buy

the unit seems durable and the handle is soft to use.
The tape holder seems too narrow in diameter.  The rolls of tape just fall out of the gun when turned on its side.  A REAL PAIN!!!!!!!!.  The actual roller that you put the tape on is too small, but I put a strip of duct tape on the center of the roller to get me by for the time being.

im moving soon and wanted to get ahead. this is NOT user friendly and the tape is super thin. so much so that every time one cuts ut, the tape comes out of the "dispenser section" and one has to fiddle to try find the end and lift it up and place tape back into place for the next stretch. there is no tension either so it's easier to use the tape with a pair of scissors.  not impressed. clearly it was on special/clearance owing to bad quality.  Not what I expected from a Duck product at all. your better off getting the disposable tape dispensers with tape on already.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. This is one of those products where people ask you "What's worth the little bit of extra money", the answer is packing tape. Don't buy this brand, pay the extra dollar or so, this tape is so bad it's actually unbelievable. The tape is too thin, it's too sticky so it gets caught on itself a LOT, because it's so thin (because they are cheap), it will rip on the sides, then you have to find a way to tear it back so you can get the full width again, which is incredibly frustrating. Just do not buy this under any circumstances - you WILL regret it.

Not worth the frustration

This tape is extremely thin and difficult having on a roller. It kept slipping off the metal piece to keep it going on straight because it is so thin. The tape also didn't stick very well at all. I would not call this packing tape for boxes for moving. I would say you could use it to tape paper together or bubble wrap.
