[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled that I received this tape in exchange for my honest review of it, as this is the first time that I've gotten a white tape that was ACTUALLY white! My rental has these contact paper covers on the kitchen cupboards that are always cracking, and this tape was the perfect solution! The white matches exactly, and you can't even see that it is taped unless you are staring at it up close (see attached before & after picture). This tape is awesome because it has the heavy duty strength of duct tape, without the unappealing gray color. It gives the cleanest edge if you cut it with scissors, but if you don't need a precise cut then you can easily hand tear it (which is how I pull pieces off 99% of the time). I have used it on a variety of surfaces, even white pvc pipe, all with great results. I live in a hot & humid area so I am very impressed that the tape isn't peeling up, as that usually happens with lesser quality tapes in this environment. The only downside I have found is that because the tape is a true white color, you need to be careful where you store it so that it doesn't get discolored. I made the mistake of leaving my roll on my couch for a day, so it now has some dark fuzz stuck to the side (see attached photo) lol. Great dependable tape though, 5/5 stars for sure!

Truly white duct tape!

3m.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used heavy duty tape for stuff but it's great to have options. Now I can color code boxes just by closing them or not worry about people seeing it when I use it to decorate because it's now coordinating. This red duck tape came in handy. It's very durable and no way it will fall off now. I used it outside for a wire that was sticking out, It's under an awning so it doesn't get wet. I also used it to hold computer wires together so they don't tangle. I also use the red duct to make crafts with it as well.

Great product! Holds and is very strong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 3M Heavy Duty Tape in Red is good tape to have for taping up boxes. It is strong tape. I used it for my Christmas boxes since the tape is Red. I use it for holding things in place. Even if the tape is too strong for the smaller boxes I used it anyway. It's like using extra security. It cuts easily. No issues with this tape. This is great to have in the house on hand.

Great Heavy Duty Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband stole my Tape! He says it's the Best Duct Tape he has ever used! He used it to Tape up Holiday Cardboard Boxes. Magic marker writes on it easily. Sticks the Best, he was so happy it was strong. he has always had issues with different tapes on boxes. he has used regular silver duct tape which didn't stay. He was so happy it stayed just where he put it. Happy Man!

Sticks The Best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rave Review for 3M Heavy Duty Duct Tape
3M Heavy Duty Duct Tape is a total game-changer! This industrial-strength tape sticks like a dream, tears cleanly, and holds strong through rain, heat, and mud. It's perfect for patching tarps, fixing furniture, or tackling any emergency repair.
Last week, a storm tore our tent during a camping trip. I slapped on some 3M Duct Tape, and it kept us dry all weekend—total lifesaver!
If you want a reliable, do-it-all tape, 3M is the way to go. Buy it, love it!

Rave Review!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M no doubt has the formula for duct tape down to a science....obviously. In fact, I didn't think it was possible to make it any more impressive than it already is. I stand corrected. 3M has done it again with their new Heavy Duty Black Duct Tape! First and foremost, the strength & durability has been enhanced while still allowing you to tear with your hands for quick usage. In addition, the adhesive has been strengthened to stick quick and stay put where you place it. Thanks to this new & enhanced formula, this tape allows you to use it on numerous services for excellent results. Also, 3M formulated this duct tape to remain resistant to water on the backside to provide even more longevity! I also think it's important to note the black coloring of this new product. It allows for more options depending on what you're using it for. Regardless, the bottom line is that you have another option besides the standard gray duct tape. With all that being said, you've got a more effective, more durable duct tape that provides multipurpose performance with optimal quality & durability, all with a new look!

Heavy Duty Duck Tape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Product, strong and useful all over the house, shop and car. I liked that this was strong, bit still easy to tear by hand. It is just the perfect thing to have in every toolbox and in the car. I was able to double up the tape ( sticky side to sticky side ) to make a very strong "rope" that was able to hang camp items up into the branches when camping when I forgot to bring rope.

Strong and Useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked how easy it was to tear the tape. I am not sure that I would ever use the amount of this product, since it is limited to indoors use. At present have not found any applications to give the tape a good test.

Good to have in your toolbox.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this tape on a few different surfaces. It sticks well on almost everything. It did not stay on cardboard boxes which was a bit disappointing, but on other surfaces it stuck and stayed very well.

Heavy duty duct tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this tape for several projects where I'd normally use duct tape, and it's performed great every time. The example in the photo shows it being used to tape seams for my laminate flooring underlayment. It adhered well to the material and didn't over-stick to itself like some other brands tend to do.

If I had one small critique — which is also kind of a compliment — it's that the tape tears very easily. On one hand, that's a plus because it makes it simple to rip off a piece without struggling. On the other hand, the last quarter inch sometimes tears lengthwise instead of straight across, so I just have to be a bit more careful.

Overall, that's a minor issue and definitely not a dealbreaker. I'd still buy this tape again without hesitation.
