I have a small 1 bedroom home. My HVAC system went out just a beginning of cold weather season. This heater manages to keep my whole house warm until we go into teens. Then I have a couple of Honeywell heaters in the smaller rooms for then. It is keeping my little home nice and toasty until I can figure out how I'm going to pay for a new HVAC system on Social Security.

The item came as decribed, its very nice to look at. It is very quiet, it can actually fit right into my fake fireplace and would have an amazing appearance. It heats up my living room but doesnt get super warm, just enough to get the chill out. Leaving it on for a long time would give a difference in temp. The unit hasnt over heated nor does the plug gets hot. 
Its still early since ive just recently received it about a week ago. From what I'm seeing I recommend to anyone.

Duraflame

Amazing little electric fireplace that I saw and decided would be perfect for those cold, winter evenings (and days) to warm things up. It was a plus that it was on sale also, so all in all, it's a win-win situation to have this new little heater available. I love it and am sure I would purchase another.

It is perfect for what I needed and a really cool addition to a cold  icky night. I mainly got it for when power goes out. It will run on my generator. Puts out more heat than my pellet strove did without the mess or noise.

This was perfect and my family was impressed by it.  It has the look of a little fireplace minus the actually wood burning.  I like this out of the other types of infrared heaters is that the heat blows from the top of the heater and not the bottom therefore you wont worry about the floor getting too hot and may cause potential damage.  We have a finished basement which we wanted this to be on the entertainment side so this heater warms up that area but it will not warm up the entire basement which I expect.

Works and looks great. I bought one about 4 years ago and still use it all the time. We liked it so much we decided to buy another one.

Love it so much I am putting two side by side in the great room of my artistic vacation rental. Cozy, classy, warm and comfy!

Cozy Classy Realistic flame

Cute but not very much heat. The room we placed it in may have been too large. Found a different fireplace that was less expensive and warms the room more efficiently.

Cute just not a lot of heat

We bought this because of the color and the look, which is perfect. However, the heat really isn't as powerful as we would like. If you are looking for something that is has heat power this isn't the one for you. It really is beautiful though.

More for looks than function

I just got this heater and it is already not functioning properly! Very disappointed!
