Usefulness

The item works as advertised.  I have only used it via the batteries and not the USB (at least not yet).

Fast shipping and unit is easy to read and operate.

The unit itself seems to be made very well. The surface that you place your package on could be a little bigger.. On the plus side it has a 'hold' button that keeps the weight of your item on the LCD screen after you remove the package. I use it for mailing items I sell on online auctions, with that said, I'm able to actually weigh about 97% of the items I mail out.

Not bad for the price...

The DYMO Pelouze ze M25 Digital USB 25LB Postal Scale is just what I was looking for--to measure a wide range of things besides items for mailing or shipping.
Used one of these for years and years, with satisfaction,  in my own small business.

Measures Up Nicely

Whoever decided to have an auto shut off after 3 minutes should not be in product design.  You can't even finish packing a box before it shuts off.  Then you have to reset ship station, which makes this product useless.  You should offer a refund to everyone who bought this and can't use it since you didn't disclose the stupid auto shut off feature on the box.  Nobody in their right mind should buy this product.  Seriously why would you make a scale that shuts off automatically after only 3 minutes when plugged in????

I do not recommend buying this M25 scale. It shuts off every 3 minutes whether is has batteries in it and or is plugged into USB. Doesn't matter. It's a constant pain to try and turn it back on every few minutes. I bought this to try and automate my shipping to make my packaging faster. It's going in the trash now as it's increased my shipping time and frustrations getting my packages weighed. DYMO you need to fix this. It looks like from ALL the previous comments that your support responses are NOT getting passed on to the correct department or else someone would have fixed this by now. This is crazy there are this many complaints about a firmware thing that no one at your company has actually done anything about yet.

Does not work with ShipStation or any similar platform. It shuts off constantly and needs to be reconnected manually every time. If it is plugged in to USB, there should be an option to keep it ON constantly

Turns Off every 3 minutwhether you like it or not.

Scale is useless in a busy shipping environment! Shuts off every 3 minutes. I am going to return mine. If you want to save energy this is not the way to do it and If your a busy online seller DO NOT BUY this scale.

Auto off makes scale useless for busy shippers!

Is there any Dymo scale that allow to DISABLE your automatic shut-off functionality? Scale is practical, economic and even pretty, but is useless if it shuts off every 3 minutes, even USB powered!
