[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Heats up our 1800 sq ft garage great! My husband really likes it.

Works great

walmart.com

purchased Dyna Glo x series 15000. installed on 12/22/2022. the following day the area received a very very cold time, -5 (-25 with wind }. I tested the heater at full setting,95F. Started at 6AM and by noon it was 45F. At 6PM the garage art.ttemp was 64F. remember the garage was freezing at start of heating.
car garge with over 15 height. no insulation, i think the heater worked well.

good unit

This large unit will NOT work with external thermostat. The remote is of port quality so you better have it somewhere you can reach. Dyna glo smaller units will work with external thermostat. There is a connection on mother board but from what i hear you can not use it.

No external thermostat

ghpgroupinc.com

The screen is hard to read. Has a spot to hook up external t-stat but cant find one on web site.

Hard to see screen

I bought this from a local utility company and it was installed yesterday. The only way I can access the control functions is with a very poor remote. You have to be in a certain spot in our storage building before the remote connects to the heater. The heater was installed in a upper corner of the storage building. You therefore cannot see and access the touchpad control panel located on the front of the heater. Very disappointed in this unit because of the remote.

Poor remote

thermostat sticks causing it to run hot constantly. Not only is this a safety issue but a huge waste/consumption of electricity . Have tried to find replacement part on line to no avail. Hoping GHP Group can help with a solution as heater can not currently be used safely.
