Bought this about 2-3 months ago. I have 2 Neapolitan Mastiffs and 2 cats. The amount of hair in my house is crazy. The first run with this vacuum made me question what the old one was doing for me. It's light enough to move with ease and cleans up amazingly!

I received the ball animal 3 today and this is an amazing vacuum.  I was wary after reading some of the reviews and was afraid I had made a mistake. I was so very wrong. I am 61 and live on a farm. If it is bad weather everything comes in on the 2 dogs. This vacuum has powerful suction and on the first use pulled so much out of the carpet. A breeze on the hard floor. This is a sturdy well made vacuum. It is NOT heavy or hard to push. Do not be afraid of that at all! I had a Dyson years ago and went to a competitor for my last vacuum. Dyson. I will never choose another vacuum again. Hands down the best vacuum. Thank you!!!

Amazing vacuum!

We got this vacumn last week, So far it dosent like dense carpet, Same as previous vacumn, But the attachments make it so easy to use no matter the situation! Only downside is it is a little heavy.

Excellent Power and amazing attachments.

This is my very first brand new Dyson upright. I've used a few Dysons over the years, so I have a good bit of experience with them. I love this model! The gates for carpet/floor suction control are fantastic,  all the accessories are great, and it performs exactly as expected for a Dyson. It's not any heavier or bulkier than many of the other models I've used previously. Still learning my way around the accessories,  however I am VERY happy with my purchase! Does a great job tackling all the dog/cat/parrot mess in our home.

Excellent vacuum

I didn't realize I needed a new vacuum until I noticed what my old two vacuums were leaving behind - dirt, small dust piles, and hair - everything I assumed my vacuum would be picking up! I did a test and vacuumed first with my old vacuums, one with a bag and the other a stick for the crevices. After one trip around our small house, my new Dyson ball animal 3 picked up everything! This vacuum has insane amount of suction so work with the settings. It's strong and worth every cent! This will definitely help the allergies.

Ball Animal 3 Complete Super Sucker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the last 18 years we have only bought dysons. This is by far the best one we have. It is super light and picks up more than any of the other ones we have bought. I love how they changed the "clip" that holds on the vacuum head. It is so easy to take on and off. Having 4 females in the house it's nice that hair don't get caught anymore. The attachments continue to get better each time as well.

Best model ever

I purchased my Animal 3 two months ago.  I have owned Dyson Vacuum since they were introduced in the US and they were all good but some of the features make this the best.  The best advancement is the brush which, having no center support picks up very cleanly. It also is completely redesigned so the pet hair doesn't get stuck in the bristles.  With 2 dogs and a cat in the house this is very important.  I bought it for the superior suction and it doesn't disappoint.  It actually lifts the wall to wall carpet off it's pad so you know it is getting the deep soil out.  Yes, it can be hard to push because of the suction but there is a deep carpet setting which relieves some of the force needed.  I am 71 years old and manage to push mine on carpet with the middle height setting.   I have seen no indication of cheaper plastic being used, but only time will tell if that is true.  The oldest Dyson that I haven't given away is over 15 years old and I have made a few repairs to plastic parts but it still runs great.  We have a 3 story house and have a vacuum on each floor and I keep and old one in the garage for the cars.

Best Dyson, best vacuum available

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Multiple cats and multiple long-haired humans: this vacuum couldn't care less as it cleans carpets, hardwood, and upholstery with equal ease.  Easily maneuverable into tight corners and around furniture, it's light enough to carry up stairs and flexible enough to help remove the odd cobweb from ceiling level.  We had as previous Animal Ball, and this is an upgrade in every respect.

Never used a vacuum better than this

This vac does a great job on carpet and hardwood floors.  However I have long hair dogs that shed alot the vac handles it, but the wand and hose plug way to easy. My old Dyson handled it with ease.

This vacuum is extremely heavy and awkward to move around. Even with long cord, it does not cover lots of ground with movement. It is hard to turn and heavy to carry. The hose attachment is awful. It is so stiff that I had to carry the vacuum instead of pulling hose. If I try to pull the hose, vacuum flips and falls. I even managed to break the plastic bin on one of the falls. Not as expected for sure.
