As soon as got Home couldn't wait to try well what can I say Another excellent one from Mr Dyson.Easy to assemble, beautiful looking and a nice size.i am very very pleased as I have a pug which sheads a lot of hair.I couldn't believe how clean my house is no hair at all.It makes life a lot easier now as I'm not sneezing (because of all hair around house) this is perfect (No hair now) I highly recommend it to all.The tools are excellent I'm spoilt for choice.A big thank you to all at dyson from one happy customer:-)

Powerful awesome hoover

very good and powerful machine even on the carpet which get D on carpet is still more poweful and can clean the carpet very well.

On the hard floor that get A is too far more powerful so I have to use only minimum level.

just used my new Dyson, suction as always, superb, although I must say the little knobs for 'on/off' and 'cord retract' seem to be quite fragile as on my old machine, you just used your foot to press on/off/retract cord, I guess it's something I will get used to, but overall I really like this little machine.

Strongly advise this vacuum cleaner. I am a die hard Dyson fan and nothing compares to these beautiful design and intelligent cleaning power. "with out hearts we are mere machines" they have a heart.

I loved so many features about the big ball. I couldn't believe the noise level was so low my husband and I were able to talk over it with yelling. The suction was incredible. My carpet from appearance did not have much visible dirt to the eye. But the dyson definitely got hidden microscopic dust. I loved seeing the brissles turning. It's light in weight also no problem going from living room to stairs. I didn't have to turn left or right the ball followed my lead. I also loved how quick I could change the head options with different heads. I'm so in love with this vaccum. Also very easy to assemble.

Very impressed

I'm leaving this review after 5 1/2 years of owning this canister vacuum. I have hardwood floors and cats so I immediately bought the articulating hard floor device to use. Between their hair and litter, this vacuum is a lifesaver. I use it every day, empty it when full, and bought an extra filter to swap out in between washings. The suction on this is great and not having to buy bags or filters is a major plus. However, today it didn't turn on. I tried other outlets and it is dead. Just like that. Since my warranty of 5 years expired, and I already have all the attachments, I decided to repurchase the same vacuum because for me this is a no-brainer. I just hope this next one lasts longer because this little baby isn't cheap.

Great Vacuum

Have had this machine for several weeks now and find it has both good and bad points (mostly good). We have timber, tiled and carpeted floors with a selection of large rugs and those natural cotton mats that collect dirt and water etc at external doors.The suction is tremendous, the multifloor head tends to stick and lift carpets and rugs at any setting above the minimum and cleans rugs and solid floors well. The spinning brush head really tackles the dirt on the carpets and works well even on longer pile carpets, but does require a lot of effort to push on deeper pile rugs and carpets but gives a good finish. I have used the animal head to great effect on the stairs, the machine fitting well on our stairs which are a reasonable depth. I like the way it rolls back upright but have to be careful to manouver around furniture to avoid knocking into table legs etc. Cannot use it at all on the entrance mats etc as it either picks them up or snags on them. The weight of the machine is OK for me but my wife who has a neck and shoulder problem has found it very difficult to use due to its weight and power (she much prefers to use the DC59). Emptying the dust container is much better now  as it cleans down the inside of the unit (left lots of fluff behind on the mesh to start off with but after some use now clears it OK). The accessory connectors are much improved and easier to use. Would recommend this for someone with a stromg arm.

Thanks for letting me be a tester for your new ball machine.

Most importantly my husband likes it suction power 

So I am hoping he will be more tempted to use it 



Sorry I am a bit late sending this report back but my arthritis in my hands had been playing up .

So when the machine arrived my husband kindly opened it all over the kitchen table ( taking everything out of all plastic bags ) .

It looked very daunting to see so many pieces ,

And I found the instruction manually very poor.



The piece I had trouble with was the double piece

As I did not have the strength to push it on and by this time hubby had given up.

Perhaps a picture of that Double piece should be put on the line below no 2 Showing the were the tool is attached on the first page .

On first glance at this page I wondered what the eyes were for ,because I did not see the title looking for blockages,

You have a big black boarded at top of each picture but the writing is on small case and not very bold 

Perhaps for us older folk it should be in capitals in the centre of picture on white background for greater contrast.



Power cable 

Love the power return for the cable ,it's one of my pet hates on your upright cleaners that they don't have them ,and noticed my friend had just hung her cable on the top loop rather than winding it up .

,so perhaps other would like it too.



Tool attachment .

Get it that the tools can be used at 3 different parts of the machine , but not quite sure what the 2 green arrows show?

They are no pictures of all the other accessories 



Suction release

Get the picture of not letting carpet tassels being sucked in ,and how to stop machine ,

But do not understand the other picture of the 2 mats one with a tick and one with a cross, unless I am thick.



Dual mode floor tool

Wondered why I had 2 tools if they are both dual action,

Must say that the suction is very strong and glad my floor boards are all well nailed in.

As when I use it on small mats it try's to eat them ,so I have to do half at a time and stand on the other half.

Now I saw the title I understand the pictures of the eye ,but still need the good old metal coat hanger to clear the problem.

This is the 3 Rd time you have these instructions in the booklet, on page 1 and page 5. Why not combine the 3 .

Perhaps I am being picky but surely optional removal isn't true ,you have to remove it so you can empty it into bin ,

Like the picture of tap saying not to wash the container,

But can you wash the container after emptying it?



Important wash filter

You have said wash in cold water why not say only under the tap do not use any abrasive brushes etc on the filter,

As I am sure I would not bother to look at all the boxes trying to work out which each one is normally.



Very pleased with the machine for suction ,and luv the cord rewind,

Usually I have upright cleaners and I find storage of the machine a problem it takes up more room,and could a clip be put on the solid wand so that the expanded coil could be attached for storage .

Not very happy with this machine this is my third dyson I have had the up right and canister before loved both of them this one is cheap and no power head like the other ones no good on carpet
