I've had this vacuum a couple months. It hangs in a closet and is easily detached to start vacuuming. I love it. No cord. Lightweight, and powerful. I vacuum two or three times as often as before. Picks up cat hair handily. It's easy to empty the debris.

I bought this a month ago to add to my collection of Dyson products.  It's my 4th.
I love Dyson products and have had cord vacs and cordless thru the years.
The suction is amazing and the long battery life is so nice.  It's a little heavier than my
older model but not a issue for me at all.  It's easy to empty and quiet.  I have Cat who
adopted me and she leaves pieces of herself everywhere. She SHEDS.  I simply get my vac out and
let it do it's thing.  I've even vacuum the bedspread that she loves to relax on.  Thank you
Dyson for making such great products that make my life easier.

Great Product

I've had it for a week to replace another Dyson V7. My cleaning person was just here and used it and was very happy. I used it yesterday to remove spider webs off my deck and it worked just fine. One comment: the manual explains how to open it for divestment of dust: not clear enough. Spent time figuring out how to open it...overall It's gorgeous!

Everything I'd expected and more

We owned a Dyson upright which became too heavy and cumbersome, but we love the Dyson brand. So we purchased a Dyson V10 and it's lightweight, cordless and has varied suction selections and with the flip of a button you can vacuum hardwood or carpet. It was a great choice for us!

I absolutely LOVE my new Dyson V10 Animal! The suction is amazing…even on the lowest power! I had another brand of stick vacuum and it didn't come up, at all, to the standard of my new Dyson. My old stick vacuum literally DIED after two and a half years! On low power the Dyson lasts almost a full hour. The set of attachments is also wonderful!

Wonderful Stick Vacuum!

This is the absolute BEST vacuum if you have dogs!! We have 2 golden retrievers and I have been amazed at how much hair it picks up on my hard wood floors and carpets. it is a breeze to empty and it is so light weight to carry upstairs. I also have used it to clean my car and it is a great tool for that purpose too.

The BEST

Great vacuum! I was anxious purchasing the cordless vacuum but this one has lived up to the brand quality expected of Dyson. I could tell such a difference in the flooring after vacuuming-so much cleaner!
My only minor issues with the product is the smaller rollers-lots of back & forth. The other is battery life. I'm able to get the whole house done on one charge but if I try to do some extra( baseboards) in a room it doesn't quite finish the whole flooring.

Worth it

I bought this brand for a month and have been using it every 3 day a week. Personally, I love it, the vacuum has 3 function depending on usage for hardwood floors or carpets.  I love the attachment that lets you angle for underneath the beds and sofas. And most importantly getting hairs stuck on carpet. I love the battery life, I could used it for over thirty minutes.  I only gave it a 4/5 star because my wife is  “short lady” which she said the handle is too tall for her and it hurt her shoulder, another thing is that she doesn't like that we have to hold the start button to keep the vacuum on. But overall, for myself, I love it because I sort off look forward to using the vaccine every 3 days or so.

A great vacuum to have

I am very disappointed in the battery life.  It says 60 minutes and I am getting about 35 at medium speed/suction.  It does pick up lots of dirt/dust.  It is easy to empty the dirt.  The handle that you must keep tension on to have a continuous running needs some ergodynamic work. I feel "rushed" to get it done before the battery quits.

Customer Service

If you have a large house, this vacuum is not for you. I live in an RV full-time. I only get through the top part which is a bedroom and a bathroom and stairs and my battery dies and mine is brand spanking new. I have to charge it and then finish my kitchen and my living area. Wow that is just wow. I like it so much I really felt like returning it but now I just have to adjust to how I clean because it is perfect for my lifestyle. Just not the battery and the way it charges absolutely sucks.

We owned an earlier model and was really happy with it.  For the V10, the attachments do not attach to the canister that easily.  The design has it where the canister lock does not have the canister far enough back for the little plastic tab to be out of the way.  Great interlock design idea, but poor execution.
