Refurbished one works just perfectly!  I had another (dysontp04)  one and just stopped working after the warranty ceased... I hope this one will last forever! At this price point !  But so far so good!

works well but the remote is broken

Minor blemishes is an inaccurate statement, unit looked terrible. Could have looked for a better used unit elsewhere. Also, wrong remote was included so cannot use completely.
