I'm not sure that I can fully express just how much I love my new cordless Dyson!!

I thought at first that it would be a good 'second' vacuum cleaner, just to be used for light cleaning, as I didn't think that something so small would be up to the job of cleaning the entire house. But I was SO wrong! The suction is amazing! It picks up every last piece of dirt from my carpets, long piled rugs and laminate flooring! It is so easy to use, you literally just walk from room to room...no heavy cylinder to drag behind you, no cords to unplug and re-plug...and so cleaning the whole house takes much less time and requires far less effort :-)

I have a Golden Retriever dog who sheds a LOT of hair and I worried that this might be too much of a challenge for the cordless cleaner but it picks up all of the hair without any problems and the best bit of all is that the hair is sucked straight into the dust box, it doesn't get tangled up in the brushes as happened with my previous cleaner!!

The tools are very easy to attach, it converts into a small hand held cleaner, which makes cleaning the stairs a breeze.

The dust box is quite small, for obvious reasons, so I find that I need to empty it after each house clean, but this is very easy to do, so it is not a problem at all.

To summarise, this is a fantastic cleaner and I really can not recommend it highly enough!!

Love the Dyson V8 Animal :-)

Dyson

Friends have recommended that I get this vacuum for months since I got a long haired German Shepherd who sheds like no other ! I procrastinated a bot before my purchase - what was I thinking! I never should have waited as this vacuum is the best ever. As a senior, I have had my share of high end vacuums over the years and this is by far the easiest & most convenient. The easy on/off charging station is perfect, as is the variety of tools !

Best pf the Best!

I have always liked my previous Dyson cordless, but there were niggles. So pleased to report that the niggles have been dealt with really well in the Absolute. The machine seems very robust. There is now a battery left indicator which is useful so you don't end up half way down the stairs with no power. The suction is even better and the machine is so quiet that the cat sleeping on the window sill stayed snoring.

I was dubious about having two different heads for hard floors and carpets, but found that both performed very well and it only needed a little planning to avoid frequent changes. It is very easy to clean out and change all the attachments too.

I found the emptying procedure a little laborious at first, but soon got used to it. Just as well as the excellent suction meant that in our currently 3 cat household, the chamber filled quickly with cat fur.

In summary, I am delighted with my new vacuum cleaner!

Loved it!

[Employee of walmartcanada] 4/5.
The reason for t4 instead of 5 is there battery lasts maybe half an hour while being used from as full charge. Not sure if it's because its a refurbished machine but seems like it could pack a bit more juice.
Could have just as easily been 3/5 and the only thing that makes it exceptional is why its almost a 5: this thing SUCKS! In s great wat. You litterally feel the ressistance from the header the vacuume making a near prefect seal to the floor/carpet,sand when you've gone over something, you know it. Unlikely to need to make a second swipes, this baby works

It really sucks

I love it! It's light weight. Easy to handle. Gets into tight spaces.

Life changing vacuum in all honesty. Thankfully we have a small apartment because the battery drains fairly quickly. If you keep it on full power, it will die after 20 minutes at most. Mixing between regular and full power has averaged us around 30-35 minutes.

Sucks well, but battery sucks

I have survived as I got additional vacuum cleaner along with V8. When using Max suctions battery won't last long max 17 mins and it won't be possible if you wanna vacuum all house you definitely need backup. If most of your house has hard flooring then you may be able to hoover all house. Good for quick cleaning only dining room or kitchen or car .

Good for hard floor Quick cleaning only

It has not worked right since I purchased it. The main body was replaced by Dyson and now I am awaiting a battery replacement. It will not suck for more than 30 seconds on Max. Disappointed overall!

Terrible Experience!

the battery does not rechsrge anymore it can be used no more than 2 minutes at the price that ion pays these sweepers it would be the least of things to provide a 2nd battery to the purchase

Charge

The re furbish machine did not even lasted one cleaning . The Battery will not charged . Walmart refused the return . Dyson promised battery replacement but there is no trace of it after 6 days . I will rate 0 star to both dyson and Walmart for customer satisfaction !!

Disappointed and Very Un happy !
