Battery life is not sufficient for extended use.

Second purchase of this vac so we now have one on each level of the house.  With a constant flow of pet hair it was almost impossible to keep up with the mess but these have solved the problem.

Our bulky canister vac almost never gets used now since this is such a capable substitute with both carpet and hardwood floor attachments.  Actually glad I never went with a whole house vac I was considering since this is more convenient and way cheaper.

Those complaining about battery life must just leave the machine on high at all times which isn't necessary.  Battery seems to last at least twice as long on normal and it's easy enough to switch to high when needed.  Could not distinguish this refurb from a brand new product.

These have replaced our bulky canister vac

We just had our carpet cleaned a month ago. This Dyson sucked a full canister of dust from it with ease. Came out of box clean and ready for duty. No instructions in box but it's self explanatory. Easy to sign up for manufacturer warranty. You gotta try it. Suck a golf ball through a garden hose.

Well worth it

Dyson really lives up to the better suction power. I love that it is light, easy to maneuver under and around items. I love the hardwood floor foot.  Did not expect it to be so nice and picks up all the dirt. It is easy to empty and saves on money, no bags. It picks up my cats hair and mine without tangling in the brush. LOVE IT! My suggestions to Dyson is to make a replaceable battery  to keep it going after years of use.

Dyson hits the mark.

I am a “tool guy” as was my dad.  He always told me to buy quality tools, you won't have to buy them a second time.  This is my first Dyson, and from what I see it is top quality. We had bought another brand of cordless stick vac because we had the batteries that run several other tools.  They weren't a vacuum company, Dyson is !   No comparison !   And with a refurb, same price.  Don't waste time trying others, buy a Dyson.  Happy customer here with a rebuilt V8.

Quality vacuum, big savings

Lightweight and pretty cool looking. Do like the suction and the bar doesn't collect hair. Little hard to get the canister to dump but not bad.  2 power modes which is helpful.  I used it in my living room on high and was very difficult with a dense frieze.  Low mode worked fine. High mode lasted living room and set of stairs.  On low did 3 rooms and stairs.  The one complaint is the angle of the handle, when using on carpet is a wrist banger. Could have designed that one better for sure.  Overall happy with the refurbished item and for the price.  Wouldn't buy one at full price.  Would probably look at other companies.

Not bad definitely useful.

The vacuum works great, however, having it on full power drains the battery super fast.  If the setting is on the lower power side, the battery lasts much longer and it still picks up the dirt no problem.  I do find though that at times it feels like I get shocked if the vacuum hits the side of my leg

Vacuum Review

Received my order for the V8B Absolute was missing tool “ mini motorized hair screw tool” which was included in the original order at the time of placing the order %26 as received by email sent by the seller after the purchase %26 was posted through other buyer review being included in the V8B Absolute. 
The seller didn't cooperate with sending the missing part to resolve the issue.

Purchased a refurbished v8 Dyson it worked fine the first time using it. The next day it worked for a few mins and acted like the battery was dead. Put it on the charger two bars were charged. It still wouldn't work returned it the next day. It would be worth it if it actually worked correctly.

Not impressed by this Dyson vacuum. I don't like that you have to continually hold down the trigger to vacuum. It's easy to switch out the heads or attachments, but I don't feel like they do a well enough job on my hardwood floors. The hardwood attachment isn't the greatest at sucking up dog hair. I also don't like that there isn't a light at the end to see what I'm picking up. not sure if I'm going to keep this or not.

Not my favorite vacuum

I already own a Dyson V8 Absolute and know it's a fantastic vacuum. But I just received two broken refurbished vacuums from this site, so I'm here to tell you don't bother. They come looking spotless and brand new, but they're broken. Both times it was the canister where it opens to empty. One vacuum had a literal broken piece, and the other won't open at all. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed.
