I bought this last week, and I'm so impressed!

It sits perfectly on my bedside table and considering how small it is the power is phenomenal. I get hot at night and this does a great job keeping me cool and also cleaning the air. 

The accuracy is also very impressive and I have never experienced a fan like this. 

Would highly recommend to anyone and great value for money.

Size does matter!

This small system packs a punch of clean air.

I am using it at the office during this CV19. 

gives me fresh air while i wear my mask. 

I wish i would have an option that could connect to your phone so that you could know what the air quality was int he space.

Super Air

Having received the fan the first thing that strook me was how easy it was to setup. Literally out of the box, connect the plug and you're away. The 10 air settings are great - although don't set it to 10 if you're working with papers on your desk they'll be everywhere :). Good range of oscillation to circulate the air. 

Only improvement I'd like see in a future version would be the dome control to direct the airflow being part of the remote so you can change it from a distance. 

Would highly recommend the fan - we're now considering a second for the bedroom.

Blown away

Had the Pure Cool Me personal working for over a week now, it sits on my desk and is on most of the day.

It's very powerful but extremely quiet and mostly I only need to have it on speed 1, having tried the maximum speed all I can say is it is very powerful! 



The adjustable head allows you to have just the right amount of cool air without blowing around any of the piles of paperwork on my desk, and the coolness actually feels like air conditioning. 



The air purifying seems to work well as I don't feel sleepy when working and no sneezing now, so it is doing something right there.



The magnetic remote-control locks onto the body of the fan, and helps stop me losing on a sometimes messy desk.



It is expensive but, being a long time Dyson fan all I can say is you get what you pay for!

An excellent piece of long-lasting kit

Ive had this for just over a week and i have to say it's much better than i expected it to be! I've got the dyson pure cool air purifier in the bedroom which is excellent. When i got this i was a little unsure as to how good it would be, being designed as a personal fan rather than the normal room filling ones. I have to say i was shocked with how powerful it is! It fits nicely in my home office and doesnt take up too much space. The 2 different heights for the air flow are handy, as you can adjust to be directed towards you or slightly above you and around you, the oscillation function is great too. The magnetic feature for the remote is handy too to ensure you dont misplace it. The product also has a timer feature so that you can control how long its on for before it turns off. 5 star product!

Better than expected!

I have been using this on my desk in my "office" (a desk in my dining room!) and it makes it feel like my own personal oasis. The fan strength can be very strong, and it's a highly elevated version of any personal fan I've seen, with the added benefit of the filter.  It's quiet and beautiful, and kind of reminds me of Wall-E from the movie. My only watch out would be to make sure you have the space/footprint to fit the base on your table or desk, as it's on the larger side and can't really be placed on the floor.

my own personal oasis!

I live in an area that regularly has unhealthy air quality issues. After a week of keeping this in my small home; I'm feeling optimistic that it is doing its job but in the end I guess it's too early to tell.

I keep it running pretty much constantly and it hasn't skipped a beat. The technology appears to be just like that of the other Dyson air purifiers but focusses on smaller volumes of space to care for.

The magnetically attachable remote is handy (if a bit finicky to reattach) and  with a button press, will show the current state of the filter on a little LCD screen on the purifier which should last 6-12 months.

The top half of the design is a bit odd but will fit in nicely when I move it to my office.

So far, so good. Interesting piece of Dyson design

This is more than a fan, it appears to soften the air as it is blowing and has replaced my traditional fan. There is no refrigerator in it, but is does cool the air which is amazing. If you can afford it I recommend this product. I have a number of Dyson products and generally they are very good, but this fan did exceed my expectations when first used. If it had been less expensive I would have given it 5 stars!

Very good product but expensive

Another amazing piece of kit from Dyson. Having to work from home, this tech has been a welcome addition to the home office. After 10minutes the air quality in the room was noticeably better. Easy to set up and use straight out of the box, very similar controls to the Dyson Desk Fan which makes it hassle free. Pleasing to the eye and the little touches make this kit a pleasure to use. However, a couple of suggestions/gripes, is that the power plug is massive and needs clearance when plugged in. Not sure why in this day and age that USB power or a much smaller plug is not a viable option?? And finally, why, when every other Dyson product has washable filters does this product require you to buy a new filter? Again, why can't the filter be washed like hoovers etc? In summary, another great product from Dyson, worth the money and does the job it's been designed to do. I look forward to using this even more when the weather gets warmer and hay fever season is in full swing!

A breath of pure air

Does exactly what I wanted it to do cools my personal space while I sleep without being to loud or creating a draft on my partner. BUT after two weeks it's started to make a slight noise on lower speed and then one day stopped working - after research the noise thing is a common fault - It was replaced without quibble and on my second one now - but few weeks in the slight noise has appeared so I'm waiting for this one to stop working next !

Common Fault

This arrived today and with the current hot weather, I had such high hopes for the Dyson Pure COOL Me™ personal purifier fan…

It is an air purifier. That is all. All air purifiers have fans that push out the filtered air. The room is warm so it has genuinely blown warm air in my face all day, just like any other fan would. I checked everywhere online to find out how to make it expel cool air. I even thought it might be a faulty product…but no, it's work just as intended. As a basic air purifier. And if that's what you're looking for, go for it! 

”Cool” is clearly in the name, but as it simply blows the air around with no cooling capabilities, it's exactly as “cooling” as any cheap electric fan. Disappointed.
