I have been performing for 1 month, I am very satisfied quite silent everything depends on the speed I stay in a 3 1/2 basement I do not need to use my heats, with programming it is great.

Super functional

You get nose blind to your own house, but if you ever leave on vacation you can smell your house for a little bit when you return. That's how it smells to everyone who comes over. I used the app to run the purifier for a day before I came back from a trip and my house smelled unlived in, like new sheets. I also love the fan timer so I can fall asleep with cool air but I don't have to wake up to it.

Clean, cool air

I am using the Dyson Hot + Cool daily and it is excellent and is very quiet. I am loving this product and it looks great also. Only negative is it doesn't have anywhere to grab to move it as you aren't supposed to move it by the top half of the item.

Great Product

Birthday present from my husband after experiencing this fan in London during the heatwave a few years ago in a London store 
Yes it's pricey but wow it's effective 
I've 2 pugs and they can easily overheat if the weather gets too hot 
I especially love the app to control it 
The night setting is great so quiet 
Yet to test the heating bit but really bought to keep me and my dogs comfortable in hot weather

Worth the money can't buy a good night's sleep

I really like the fact that you leave it and it does the work for you. Sometimes I find it “over sensitive” but I understand the job it to clean the air and it does it well. The only reason I removed one star is the lack of option for colour theme. I would prefer any other colour than gold but there weren't options

Great all in one set and forget machine!

As an air purifier and a space heater, it's amazing. As a fan or the “cool” part of it, not so much. I bought this hoping to replace 3 devices used in my office/sun room. The fan definitely works but when set to Auto the fan barely produces any wind at all. It would be nice if I could set the fan speed when in auto mode. Also the color is hideous and doesn't match any room in the house. Nickel and gold? I might as well have a bunch of black lacquer and gold accents everywhere with green shag carpet.. it's 2024 not 1979

Awesome air filtration and heat

Purchased this device to replace a Gen 1 Pure Hot & Cold (also bought a Big and Quiet on the same purchase).
I can say the design is a dramatic improvement over our original device with a host of great new features.  The pairing to the app is so seamless (thank goodness cause the former way was excruciating), and I wasn't even aware of the feature to re-direct the airflow from the front to the sides!
As much as I do consider myself a Dyson advocate (I have multiple products) its not achieving everything I thought it would.  I'm rather disappointed with the effectiveness of the sensor for filtration as I've sprayed aerosols into the air close to the unit whilst its on Auto - and it did not increase the air flow level/strength at all which I find odd.  Another example of this is smoke coming from outside (from the neighbour's BBQ) which came in through our ensuite into the bedroom - again the unit was on auto and did not change strength, resulting in our room having a smokey odour for some time before it filtered it out.  I also notice dust layering around countertops directly around and nearby the machine, which I thought it would at least reduce, but has not seemed to have any impact.  Given these 2 things are core to the machine's functions (and why we bought it) it has negatively impacted my score on the device, especially for the price it is sold at.

Good - but also dissapointing

Purchased a few weeks ago, the item in my opinion was over priced before its current increase for what it does. The filters after light usage have dropped by 10% in that time. On its current  performance to maintain filtration performance I expect to have to replace filers within nine months. Replacement filters are not cheap! All the above doesn't detract from its functionality… though cooling is a little over stated. It circulates and recirculate air rather than cool it. As I already have other Dyson devices the App was previously and works well. In summary, an over priced machine which works well and is stylish in looks (personal opinion). At its current price point (recently increased and currently available). I'd certainly consider other options.

Good but expensive to buy and maintain.

I have a 54sqr metres apartment loft style, bought this for my 18sqr metres bedroom and the room temperature is actually more than the outside- the cool air doesn't seem to work. Also the air quality not sure has any difference. I think it is overpriced for what it actually offers.

Overpriced

Buying new the first did not heat more than 18 degrees, changed less than 10 days later, the second heated at the beginning very well just as the first stopped but did not start again at the requested temperature, result several times 13 degrees in the room in winter, the second I asked to be refunded

Very bad experience, I do not recommend
