I’ve had this vacuum 3 weeks and it’s really impressive and has made vacuum cleaning light work! It’s great not to worry about the wire and it’s light weight too, so you can easily run up the stairs with it. A full charge is more than enough to clean the whole house top to bottom. The only snag, for me, is emptying out the cylinder…the debris still has to be pulled out by hand as the initial empty does not fully clean it out.

I’ve always had Dyson cylinder vacuums but this one was highly recommended and it didn’t disappoint 
The vacuum has a a good battery life excellent suction it’s 
extremely quiet very easy to empty very pleased with the overall performance loved how it lets you know it’s blocked and where the blockage is a little heavy but you soon get used to it

Can't believe I'm writing this, but hope it will help ... I have had this model for a few weeks and honestly it is the best Dyson product ever. My original Dyson joined the family well over 25 years ago - an upright, yellow and grey, then when she finally gave up the ghost she was replaced by 2 other Dyson tow-alongs.  They were always reliable and great workers for house and car but finally wore themselves out in the line of duty. My first cordless Dyson was a total disappointment with a battery that faltered 10 minutes into the clean, I'm not sure why I tried again with this model - was sorely tempted to move away from Dyson altogether. But loyalty to the brand brought me back and I'm so pleased because this model is fantastic and a great ally in the struggle against dogs, beach and everything else the world may deposit.  I'd definitely recommend this one. On our first run-through the carpet looked like new! Easy to charge and to check battery progress as you go. Thanks Dyson!

A new friend in the war against dirt & doghair

I have only used it for a few weeks now but find the suction very good.  Also like that there is no cord.  The only thing that I do not like is that you have to keep your finger on the on/off switch.  I wish you could turn it on and leave it on without having to hold the switch, hard if you have arthritis.

WE have 2 border collies and a cat which collectively make a lot of hair. The Dyson is great at gathering it up. Medium suction is sufficient; never need boost. 
Battery charge is more than sufficient for our home; 240 sqm and always some power left.
Filtration seems highly efficient and filture is easy to clean. Very easy to to disassemble the barrel for cleaning.
The cleaning head is easily maneuverable around furniture.
Ergonomically: the on/off trigger becomes uncomfortable after a short time; the efficiency of the new cleaning head also creates resistance when pushing the appliance over carpet - a compromise.

I was having trouble with my 11 year old V6 which had ran perfectly for all those years until recently when it wasn't holding the charge. Rang Dyson and decided to puchase a new V11 for an excellent price. The same arrived at my front door less than 24hours later. My only disappointment was that it is heavier than my old V6. So now my biceps will be stronger than ever. Brilliant service and I will definitely be buying the same again when the need arises. Thankyou.

Upgraded from the V10 as the run time had reduced significantly over the last few months. First impressions, a little heavier than the previous machine. Display is a nice touch, however looking like only 30ish minutes of run time on a medium setting. Should be enough to cover downstairs, then recharge for upstairs. Will see how it lasts battery-wise, as the V10 had served us well over the last few years...

Upgrade from the V10...

I bought the v11 a few weeks ago so it's hard to judge yet .it is as expected for its price .I ve bought several in the past and must say , the lithium ion battery always lasted only barely 2 yrs .they are costly to replace .the usual excuse when I phone is the  amount of time it was used or using max too often .that has never been the case with me but they are not interested in listening to the customer .

V 11 vacuum

The suction is fair, it relies on the brush pushing the dust to the suction head.
Filtration is good.
the suction head is quite heavy, tiring to keep the trigger pushed. After awhile it  hurts.
Battery is suitable for our size house, 
the maneuverability is good, easy to go around furniture.  It is an effort to change suction head. Because of the weight of the unit it is heavy to use the brush attachment on walls and skirting boards.

NOT A HAPPY CAMPER AT ALL. PURCHASED ON 18 APRIL 2026 AND DURING THE FIRST USE THE CANISTER SEAL BROKE AND CANT REPAIR IT. I NEED A REPLACEMENT CANISTER. PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR INFO BECAUSE IVE CALLED AND GET NO ANSWER.
