I recently bought a new home with hardwood floors. I always thought the Dyson handheld vacuums would work well on such floors. I'm so glad I chose to purchase one because it is absolutely fantastic!

I received the V7 Origin for Christmas from my children and I am more than pleased. It is so convenient and lightweight. I have 5 kids, 2 cats and a dog and I needed something with power, that could be easily whipped out to clean up pet hair and crumbs. I was however wondering if any more attachments can be purchased other than the ones it comes with?

Fabulous! While I'm going to talk about the negatives please don't misunderstand we love this machine. The following are things I would change if I ran the Dyson Co. 1. where it plugs in should be changed on the V7, when the canister gets filled it can give off an electrical charge on your hand. 2. I would like a removable battery. 3. I would have less models (they are too similar to make a variety of products) keep it simple and have straightforward pricing. 4. we would actually buy a second but have to buy with all the attachments and don't want to spend the money on attachments we already have.

Fabulous! Never going to buy a vacuum with a cord or a bag again. This is a game changer

This vacuum is easy to use light and has good agility.  I use it almost every day.  Normally I would vacuum once a week every 2 weeks.   I like how it's a bag less system with a reusable filter.
Only con is the vacuum won't vacuum when it is plugged in charging.

Takes the effort of my chores

This product is so powerful and tasteful made... I just want to eat it. Ha, honestly, we live in a 200 year old log cabin and the hardwood floors and the few area rugs are no match for the V7. I could not believe how much dirt and debris this thing picks up. Highly recommended

Power plant on a stick

Got this Dyson sent to me as a replacement, for my other hoover, (not a Dyson),as mine broke. So very pleased with this machine, it is very easy to use, lightweight which I need, such a powerful little machine, also easy to clean. Would recommend this to anyone. Very happy with this Dyson.

Lightweight, powerful, easy to clean

I've had Dysons for years, this is my second cordless Dyson, all the things that I had thought were quite awkward with my original cordless dyson they have put right with the v7, it's more powerful, the bin is easy to empty and no awful cord to have to plug in.

Powerful vacuum

The first time I used our new Animal, it pulled a disturbing amount of dirt out of our carpets!  In the past, I had known that Dyson's were the best, which is why they commanded such prices as they do.  But I didn't realize how big a difference there was between "good" vacuum and a Dyson.  



The Animal is everything I had hoped it would be.  It's light enough to use it everywhere but so powerful.  The attachments are easy to switch, and I like not having to drag our upright vac thorough the house to hit certain spots.



I do wish the charge would last long.  It is good enough to do a large room and a bit more before it needs to be recharged.  However, the overall lightness of the unit was a good trade-off.  



You won't be disappointed if you get one of these.  Just don't expect to use it on your entire 3000 square foot house on a single charge.

I never knew how good they were until I got mine!

I bought this about 4 weeks ago and I am so pleased with it. It's lightweight, suction is great, it's so easy to empty, just simply pull the lever and it empties completely, no need to take apart etc. I don't usually write reviews but this is worth it!! A definite must have. You won't be disappointed.

Awesome bit of kit!

I bought this two weeks ago for small jobs in my work for example if somebody spills bird seed on the floor in one of the apartments I can just carry it over and suck it up and also the suction is superb aswell as how light is really is and the long runtime

Great pickup and features

I just find out that if you charging the battery with an extension cord, the battey will die very soon. I bought V7 absolute last year November. And today, I found my V7 battery totally died because i charged via an extension cord. This was very shocking. O am not sure when I receive the exchange one, i will happy with V7 since i know the screat.
