It has good suction. I really like the way it cleans. The only problem that I have with it is the switch. When I have to hold it on. my hand gets sore and bruised. I wish there was some way that I could keep the switch on without having to hold it on. It maneuvers easy and gets in small places.

Dyson

This vacuum is great. We already had a Dyson vacuum, so I knew this product would serve my purpose. I like this one so much I may not use my other Dyson much. We had bought another mini recharge able vacuum, but it lost suction in 5 min. We returned it. I knew the Dyson wouldn't loose suction, so I bought one and I love it.

Great Vacum

The suction in both modes is amazing! I find that I don't even need to use max mode, because the regular one is strong enough to lift from my carpet with strength. Also works great on my vinyl flooring in my bathrooms. Battery life is extremely  decent, and I wall mounted the Dyson in a cupboard in my house. Not as noisy as one might expect! Overall a great cleaner and I wouldn't hesitate to buy again!

Everything I wanted

Love my new Dyson cordless vacuum there is very strong suction on high use lower suction for area rugs. I had a little trouble trying to empty the canister but eventually figured it out. It uses the battery up pretty quickly if using the highest suction but recharging doesn't take too much time. I highly recommend

Love this Dyson

This is the best vacuum I've had, even on low the suction filtration is very good. My last one was SO noisy l wore ear defenders, the V8 is quiet. The only concern l had was a friend had a problem with hers and no one would listen, she was adament she would never get another dyson, and never has!

All round excellent

I won the vacuum in a raffle and I absolutely love it. It's wonderful for vacuuming the furniture the car quick pick ups and I am using it a tunnel already. Police headquarters on purpose based is an absolute act around this afternoon at the Philadelphia Philadelphia police second district headquarters police

I am happy with my new cordless Dyson. It runs smoothly from carpet to hard floors without need to change setting or nozzle. It is powerful and I like various attachments that clip on easily. I would prefer simple on/off button to current system that requires button being pressed all the time in order to work. This may be difficult for older people.

Works well on carpets and hard floors

Although I wish that my Dyson  stayed on "High Power" for more than 7 minutes and did not need 5 hours to fully recharge, even a low power this machine is terrific.  I fly through the apartment without worrying about tripping on a power cord, the suction is wonderful at any setting.  It is highly maneuverable, the bin is easy to empty and I am astounded by how much the Dyson picks up in my clean apartment.  Its noise level is very low and it is pretty easy to hold in your hand.  So, in short, I recommend it.

This model has great suction and better battery life than most other brands that I've used. There are two things I think would improve the vacuum. A light on the motorbar head would make it easier to see any dust. Also having to hold the trigger constantly is inconvenient. Perhaps more of a toggle switch to turn on and stay on.

Dyson V8

I  received the V8 model a couple of weeks ago and first used the motorbar cleaning head. After a full charge the battery died in 40 minutes.  I was noticing  some pain on the thumb of my hand that was using the vacuum.  There was a wound caused by rubbing the handle while vacuuming.  The handle rubbed the thumb skin right off and caused a considerable deep and painful wound that is still not quite healed.  There is also a whistling suction noise coming from the Motörhead that sound like it's loosing vacuum from a poor fitted construction.  The small wheels of the Motörhead are completely clogged with dust from the first usage and unable to clean it.  Also I tried the fluffy cleaner head on my hardwood floors and it sound like it's roughly scraping the floors and I'm afraid it will leave scratch marks on the hardwood.  These are the imperfections and hazards I have found so far with this product.
