Motor was smaller than the previous older model I had guess that's why it was cheaper but the suction power was about the same. Really like how they moved the connection to the charger cord on top of the vacuum. Now you mount the wall holder and it just plugs in automatically. My old one had to still plug in wire after hanging up after use.

Overall I like

We live our new dyson. First cordless and light vacuum we've ever owned and We just won't back to the old ways. Folds, swivels and glides smoothly. Powerful light and convenient. Only downside is that if you use it in the Max setting it will run out of battery in about 8 mins. Still enough for 2 rooms. comes with a 2 attachments for scrubbing and difficult to reach places. Also, its mounting bracket helps you keep other in place.

Had it for about a week now and so happy with my purchase. 
It was never used, packaged really well and pretty easy to assemble. 
Also Love how lightweight it is moving around the house and how efficient it is on the regular setting.

Excellent Purchase

In general, love the vacuum. It's lightweight, easy to assemble, good battery life and great suction. The biggest drawback is the handle. There is no switch to turn on. You have to hold constant pressure on the power switch in order for it to run which doesn't seem like a big deal but  the motor hits the bone on my thumb.  It's the same design on al of there stick vacuums. I had hoped the smaller vacuum wouldn't be as bad but it is. See pictures below.

Dyson V8 cordless vacuum does a great job ... then in 8 minutes the battery dies ... needing to be recharged ... spends much more time recharging than running.... no trigger lock requires someone with arthritis in their hands to tape or velcro the trigger ... bought an aftermarket trigger lock

If all you care about is dropping a large amount of cash for being a member of the DYSON club?  Then this “baby” Dyson is for you!! It looks pretty hanging on the wall because you probably don't actually clean your own house.  You hire someone to do it for you.  BUT IF YOU have children and pets.  If you have dust and dirt.  If you LIVE in your home and need to clean it??? THIS IS NOT THE VACUUM TO BUY!  Trust me!! I am a career “stay at home mom with kids and 2 dogs.  Vacuuming is my religion!!  I do it twice a day.  I jumped on the DYSON BANDWAGON and quickly bailed!! I was so excited AT FIRST.  Then I realized first go around that using the max setting too often was a BAD IDEA!  The battery died after 7 MINUTES!! What?  Ok. Lesson learned.  Charge.   2nd attempt- this time NO MAX.  I begin.  24 minutes later,  BATTERY DEAD AGAIN!!!! This is NOT the vacuum for me!! I ACTUALLY CLEAN!!  I takes me 20 minutes JUST TO VACUUM the STAIRS!!  I don't have time for multiple charges!  I will be going back to my SHARK!!  SHARK BRAND seriously does just as well as DYSON at a better price!!  TO DYSON,  y'all need to go back to the drawing board on this one OR ADD a good old fashioned PLUG IN!!!  RIDICULOUS!!  P.S. I think the photo speaks to how well my SHARK ROCKET works!! This was all that this DYSON managed to suck out of my carpet.  I would give this negative stars if that was possible!

Dyson is the best??? NOT!

Despite marking it as "New" in your product page, I was delivered with what looks like a refurbished package, and the unit still has dust inside the dust bin! Extremely disappointed it's sold and shipped from the OEM.
