Purex is made in Canada and is western Canada's brand.  I live in beautiful Alberta.  Although there are other brand 
names to chose from where I shop, my family's first choice, is always Purex.  Purex toilet paper is irresistibly 
soft and absorbent as advertised.  The rolls are perfectly sized and safe for septic and sewer sytems.  The Kruger 
company reaches out to the community.  They have been a supporter of the breast cancer cause for over 15 years.  
Kruger also supports responsible forestry.  And then there's the Kruger Big Assist, a Canadian initiative that provides  
funding to minor hockey associations to make hockey more accessible, inclusive, and affordable for children.  I am a
dedicated Kruger consumer, for all the right reasons.

For many, many years (under Scott Paper ownership), Purex regular toilet paper had a tiny "pillow" pattern embossed on its soft, absorbent, and classic toilet paper. Part of the marketing included cartoon pillow characters. The product was of great quality, at a great price, made in New Westminster, BC, and a staple in both my family's home while I was growing up, as well as my own as an adult. Somewhere along the line, after Kruger acquired ownership of Purex, the product changed dramatically ... and not for the better! Gone were the embossed pillows and plush texture, replaced by a new pattern embossed onto less-soft paper, with two plies that separate when unrolled and placed in the hand. It's gone up in price, feels and looks noticeably CHEAP in quality, and I've switched brands to another Canadian brand whose quality has been consistently great, evermore, and whose sale price is usually lower in price than when Purex is on sale. The only time I'll now buy Purex is if it's the only brand on *sale at whatever store has the best local offer on toilet paper, and I'm always disappointed (again and again) in the lacklustre quality of the Kruger version of Purex. Bring back the pillows, even if they were Scotties'.

Bring Back the Original PILLOWED Regular Product!

This is the toilet paper I've purchased for years. 
Went to buy a new bag and it's so rough. 
Feels like sandpaper, I still have some of the other bag and it's soft. 
Either they are changing the toilet paper to sand paper or they have quality control issues.

Quality control issue

Something changed. The Purex regular toiletpaper does not absorb water easily and causes problems when flushing. I don't think this is the best option for septic tanks anymore.

Takes forever to absorb moisture.

I only buy Purex when it goes on sale the 30 pack of double rolls. This last time I got them I thought the roll looked MUCH SMALLER than my previous one I know originally there use to be 252 sheets per roll. 

I looked on my 30 pack of double rolls I had bought previously 242 sheets per roll. 

I then looked on my most recent purchase of 30 pack of double rolls and 202 sheets per roll!!! 

How much more sheets are you going to take away but continue to charge an insane amount of money for your toilet paper? Yes it is nice toilet paper but for this amount on a roll and the cost I'm better off going back to buying Walmart brand toilet paper! 

Not impressed! I hope enough customers will complain so there's at least 232 per roll!

Purex

There's a very significant amount of toilet paper dust being shed each time I unroll some of this product. It releases a horrible mess into the air and all over everything! The dust gets into my eyes, and has been making me sneeze and cough because you can't avoid breathing it in. I will not be buying this product again!

Horrible Product!

The Purex Regular 2 Ply is a complete RIP OFF, You are trying to make the ply so thin. and unreliable. I am wondering
how thinner you are going to try to make it?
This is nothing else than a dishonest product. Not only do the prices increase but the product decrease in qualities. 
I am asking you: are you  proud of your product?

Poor Dishonest Toilet Paper quality!!

I am never buying this tp again. Not sure how many layers you need to have so your fingers dont pop through. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I cant even put this out when we have guests. Somehow you market this as premium paper. The CEO should take a roll home with them to see how they like it.

I would like to draw to your attention, the inadequacies of your toilet paper. I am so disappointed that I bought such a large package. I don't believe you ever could've tested it in a situation requiring absorption of moisture this toilet paper disintegrate upon contact with a damp body body. Even my youngest grandchild makes mention of how uncomfortable it is to have little bits of paper sticking to her tiny bottom.

I totally agree with Julia from Edmonton.  The toilet paper sits on top of the water and takes at least 2 flushes to go down.  We have dual flush toilets and even with the larger amount of water it doesn't go.   I bought the 24 = 48 rolls and can't wait for it to be gone.  Total waste of water.
