In Earth Defense Force 2017, gamers play with the aid of loyal AI teammates through more than 50 levels in the game as they strive to save Earth from the space invaders and their vicious attempt to eliminate humanity. I watched this game being played by a grandson, great grandson and his sister. Needless to say I purchased one for each household. Now they are all happy and can play no matter whose home they are at. My grandson plans to take his back to school with him in the fall and the younger ones can still continue to play here. I give it a 5.

This game is about pure fun. Technically, Earth Defense Force badly put together. The graphics are lackluster, the enemy AI sometimes falls apart, and the game features occasional slowdown. Despite all of this I never stopped enjoying it and it never got old. I should also add that this game is funner played in coop and that I would have rated just the single player a 3/5. This game is meant to be shared.

The game features a huge variety of weapons and a sizable variety of enemies. Most levels face you with a swarm of enemies that keep you on the edge of your seat. Enemies drop armor power ups that permanently increase your health and gun pickups that give you a random gun at the end of the level. The collection aspect was probably the most addicting part of EDF and taps into the same desire to grind as a games like WOW do. This is definitely one of the best "arcadey" shooters I've played in a long time.

Underrated Game

This game has very good graphics. My friends and I have a great time when we play this game. It is challenging, but we have a great time anyway. Anyone who has a X-Box 360 should get this game!

Earth Defense Force Rules!

My 6 year old loves this game. Many difficulty levels so younger kids to old can play. Two player is great feature. Great shooting battle game without all the blood and guts.

Fun!
