Long lasting in my use to date.  Light meter to advise capacity left as you sue the battery.  Rather heavy so made the blower and the trimmer a bit unbalanced with the concentrated wait on one end.  Neck strap solved that issue for the trimmer.  Some may prefer the smaller and thus lighter battery but that may require you have a spare.

Bought this product because my old gas powered weed eater was heavy and finally broke.  This battery works great with my new EGO electric weed eater, is light, easy to load, easy to charge, and had excellent ratings. I am happy with the purchase. Hopefully, it is a durable as advertised.

Easy to operate

The battery came as a package promotion online. We already had the EGO 21" Self-Propelled Mower and was what convinced me to purchase these accessory lawn tools.

Best Lawn Tools Yet

The batteries are easy to recharge and the fact that this 880 blower came with two batteries, it means that I can start and complete a cleanup, or snow removal, with one full charge! It's amazing to have received 2 batteries with this amazing blower!

2 Great Batteries

I've been pleasantly surprised with this 10A replacement battery for my Ego mower.  I previously used a 7.5A Ego battery that came with the mower, and this one gives me noticably longer mowing time.  Even though a 10 amp should provide longer mowing time than a 7.5 amp, because this is a non OEM battery  I would have been happy with equivalent run time.   It charges very quickly on the same Ego charger.   Will it last as long as an original Ego battery?  Way too early to tell at only 10 cycles used, but at roughly 20% of the cost it's a gamble I'm very comfortable taking. My only complaint and the reason I don't give five stars is that it's incredibly hard to tell how much battery is left while using the mower.  It's difficult to tell how many of the indicator lights are still green without stopping the mower and opening the battery cover.  With my original battery the lights were bigger, brighter, and easy to view through the battery cover.  I would still still purchase this battery again and strongly recommend it.

I have 3 of the 4 hour batteries. 2 work just fine and seem to last a long time. One is used on a leaf blower another is used for a line trimmer. Third one is on the new hedge trimmer. This one is problematic. It will function as designed for awhile then, even after charging will show a red circle or one red bar that flashes. When this happens, after being installed in a tool will only run a second or two and flash red. Wait a bit, repeat till I give up. Right now it is functioning correctly and showing 3 green bars. Hence a 4 star rating. Only time will tell if the 3rd battery is worth keeping.

4 amp hour battery x3

I purchased this 4.0 AMP battery as my original 7.5 AMP is no longer holding sufficient charge to entirely mow my lawn.  Replacing the 7.5 AMP with a new one would have been the price of purchasing a new EGO lawn mower with a 5.0 AMP battery.  Granted the replacement mower would not have been self propelled which I do not use anyway.  I was informed by EGO that discounted batteries are usually part of a new tool purchase.  EGO should also provide discounted batteries for homeowners that have registered their EGO tool.

Battery Replacement

The original 4.0 amp-hour battery that came with the tool failed after two years of use. The battery would not take a charge. The battery was quickly replaced, and the replacement battery has been performing well. I have a number of EGO tools and am very happy with their efficiency and performance for the most part. The batteries on all of these tools last through each use without having to recharge. This makes them a great purchase and I would purchase again.

I do have one issue I need your help with though. The bottom of the auto line feeder head on my string trimmer is wearing through. Is there a replacement part I can order for this?

Very Satisfied

These battries are really very small for my snow blower, It's not even to clean half the driveway during snow strom. Had to charge 4 times to clean snow on my two garage driveway. After this bad experience I got 10. A batteries and they worked good. Same kind of work with single charge

I was disappointed upon opening my trimmer/blower kit that the battery was from September of 2024.  This battery is already 17-18 months old.  I used the blower after opening the box to blow off my driveway.  I only ran the blower for 5 minutes (NOT using the turbo button) and it went one bar on the battery meter.  I just charged the battery completely and plan on using it this week.  I am hoping that the battery performs better after a full charge.  I am in the market for a new lawnmower and am considering the Ego self-propelled 21" mower but am waiting to see how the current battery i have performs after the next use.  I realize batteries don't last forever but given the cost I expect above average run time compared to your competitors.
