Battery replacement cost is relatively expensive.

Long lasting in my use to date.  Light meter to advise capacity left as you sue the battery.  Rather heavy so made the blower and the trimmer a bit unbalanced with the concentrated wait on one end.  Neck strap solved that issue for the trimmer.  Some may prefer the smaller and thus lighter battery but that may require you have a spare.

The battery came as a package promotion online. We already had the EGO 21" Self-Propelled Mower and was what convinced me to purchase these accessory lawn tools.

Best Lawn Tools Yet

The batteries are easy to recharge and the fact that this 880 blower came with two batteries, it means that I can start and complete a cleanup, or snow removal, with one full charge! It's amazing to have received 2 batteries with this amazing blower!

2 Great Batteries

I upgraded from the 2.5 to the 4amp ho ur batter for my string trimmer and what a huge difference in battery life. The weight is basically the same but I get almost one hour of usage with my IQ string trimmer.

4amp hour battery

IT DOES THE JOB, BUT ONLY FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES. I WILL NEED A LARGER Ah BATTERY TO COMPLETE THE LAWN. I USE UP ABOUR 1 1/2 BATTERIES TO COMPLETE THE LAWN MOWING.

EGO 56V 4Ah BATTERY

This review gets a three because it's predecessor battery lasted only five years. Of course at that time it's out of warranty in your forced to either buy a new battery at exorbitant prices or just buy a whole new blower that comes with a battery. Overall, the previous blower and battery worked great until the battery died. I probably use the blower at least 4-5 times a week for yard, garage, shop, and other purposes. If the battery had lasted 7-8 years as suggested I would give the products five stars.

Great power, but will it last?

These battries are really very small for my snow blower, It's not even to clean half the driveway during snow strom. Had to charge 4 times to clean snow on my two garage driveway. After this bad experience I got 10. A batteries and they worked good. Same kind of work with single charge

Battery Performance

The battery lasts 20-25 minutes one speed below high.  Overheated when held on high. Goes through a battery faster than the other one can recharge, so you'll have to take a break in the middle of the job for the batteries to catch up.

Battery life not that great.

I was disappointed upon opening my trimmer/blower kit that the battery was from September of 2024.  This battery is already 17-18 months old.  I used the blower after opening the box to blow off my driveway.  I only ran the blower for 5 minutes (NOT using the turbo button) and it went one bar on the battery meter.  I just charged the battery completely and plan on using it this week.  I am hoping that the battery performs better after a full charge.  I am in the market for a new lawnmower and am considering the Ego self-propelled 21" mower but am waiting to see how the current battery i have performs after the next use.  I realize batteries don't last forever but given the cost I expect above average run time compared to your competitors.
