This rugged battery runs long and charges quickly. I have two 2.5A batteries that have lasted 6+ years of residential use and still strong. Nice to see the more granular scale for battery power remaining.

I bought my mower and weed eater 2 years ago. I was so please to find out that I was able to register my product even 2 years after purchase. This was important because my mowers 4.0 battery went bad. Customer service was outstanding and I am so glad I bought this outstanding product from an outstanding company.

Blown away!!!!!

I've owned the greenworks g-max 40 volt mower and the echo 58 volt mower. The batteries on the Ego system are far superior. Run-time with the Ego is better. Power is excellent and as good as the Echo. But charge time is where these batteries really make a difference. With the Ego fast charger, the 4Ah battery goes from completely depleted to fully charged in a half hour. The best part though is that the battery begins charging immediately after coming out of the mower. My biggest issue with the Greenworks and Echo systems was that you often needed to wait an hour for the batteries to cool down before the 1 hour (Echo) or 2 hour (Greenworks) charging would begin. With 2 Ego 4Ah batteries I now have continuous power.

Industry best charge time

I've been waiting for the (ascending) power and (descending) price curves to intersect on garden tools, and here we are. The 20-inch EGO lawn mower costs no more than a semi-decent gas-powered mower, so I ordered one. It's quiet, handles well and cuts beautifully—the high blade RPM may have something to do with this—and with the 4.0 AH battery I can do my lawn three or four times before it's time to recharge. This takes only half an hour or so. I've just added the 530 cfm EGO leaf blower, which runs on the same battery, and so far I'm pleased with that too. It's great to be free of the cord, not to mention the noise, stink and point pollution of gasoline.

Renewable Power

This is a battery replacement,I am very satisfied with the warranty service.

I bought the Ego self propelled lawn mower and absolutely love it. The battery charges quickly and I can cut the front, back and sides without having to stop and recharge and there's plenty of battery power left.  If you're looking for a battery mower this is the one to buy.  Only downside I see is that the cost of the battery is 1/3 the cost of this mower when I have to replace it.

Best Darn Mower

I could do a commercial for this mower!! Women don't typically have the upper body strength for mowers that require you to yank the starter. The EGO is so easy to start, is quieter than gas powered mowers, takes fewer resources (I never run out of gas), and handles easily. I have let my neighbors test drive my mower and they love it too!

Best Mower for Women!

I started out purchasing the ego trimmer and were so impressed with the power of the unit and life of the battery, that I had to give the mower a shot. I was impressed by the two amp hour battery that came with the trimmer, but I'm really impressed with the larger battery that came with the mower! The battery life is phenomenal and the power that it delivers is unlike anything I've ever seen. They are quick charging and it keeps my mower running strong for almost an hour. Then, I can snap my smaller battery in the more and run for another 30 to 40 minutes! This is a great product and I would highly recommend it.

Very pleased!

WOW!  No pulling cords; no working around electrical cords, the EGO POWER battery is the only way to go when you can't start a mower.  I have owned an electric mower in the past and carrying around an electric cord was a hassle.  Then I tried a push mower (yep, the old rotary blade)!  Well, I am still able to do my own yard work; but, all of the pushing and rolling over and over the same area of grass will wear you out FAST!  Push button is great!  My only other option would be a goat and that wouldn't work in a residential aea.

The blower is great.  The battery is expensive and didn't seem to last very long

2nd battery

It just does not work well after 6~7 cycle. It showed red light , but I could not charge it .When I put it on the charger, it shows the battery full. 
I guess it is overheat.
