Recently bought and have used several times.  Does a good job on packed and wetted leaves and superb job on all others.  It Has Turbo that really gets at these items.  The leaf blower is all that I had hoped for.  Will be making a strap to help support the blower when in use since it tends to point downward when in use.  The battery should be upgraded to the 4 AHr model but the 2.5 A Hr battery still lasts for 45-60 minutes.  Recharging the battery takes a little more than a half hour - giving time for taking a break!

I actually like the charger. You can hear a fan when its charging. Theres a red and green light to let you know if its charging or if its done charging. My only issue, which i would consider good for the charger but maybe a con for the batter, is when the battery dies and you put it on charge. Every time ive charged it so far the light is solid red, meaning that the battery is too hot. So before you can charge it you have to let the battery cool down, and then put it on charge. If you just put it on charge and the red light is on it wont charge, even after cooling down. It would be nice if it would cool down and then start charging so we could put it on charge and come back later without having to remember to go reset the battery so it will start charging.

Nice charger with one little issue

Easy battery loading charging unit.  No operating mistakes in loading your batter to charge. Very well engineering thought process in designing this tool.

This is my 2nd battery charger and was part of a package promotion. This charger along with my first can quickly recharge our collection of three batteries. Sits compactly on a shelf in the garage and is completely automatic in its operation.

Provides Charged Batteries At The Ready

I've only had the new charger for 2 weeks, and it works well.  If I had it a year or two and it still was charging well, I would probably give it 5 stars

EGO  charger

I have only used it once this summer but it re-charged the 2.5 Amp Hour for my EGO string trimmer in one hour. It is light weight and seems rugged enough for a long life even though it has minimal LED's to communicate how it is working.

Very Good EGO charger

Charger failed within two years of purchase. This was a gift from my wife so I did not have a receipt. Without a receipt they would not warranty the charger. Chargers should not fail within two years, if I thought it was going to fail i never would have asked for it for Christmas.

Charger failed

Equipment seems to work, but called for help 3 times. After waiting forever, opted for call back. Not called back for 2 days and only got a message to call back again. Repeated this 2 more times either leaving my number an 2 days before a call back. The calls coming on to my phone did not show the caller and did not do the id process on my iphone. So, I am concerned about  whether to buy any more products of custom service is so thin.

Problem

The lifespan is about 3 years.   We all know the technology is there to make them last longer and for the price, the accessories should last longer.  We do love our Ego tools.   If your battery quits charging and you don't have a meter, take battery & charger into a dealer and they will test it.

Wish Lasted Longer

Low power.., very frustrating looses power after 10 minutes of continuous use.. I bought because of high reviews ..not so.. disappointing
