[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This EKO slim sensor trashcan is one of those small upgrades that genuinely improves day to day life.

First, the design is clean and minimal, and looks great in the bathroom next to a white porcelain toilet bowl. It’s compact but still hold enough for regular bathroom use.

The set up is simple. The battery compartment is easy to open, just twist to unlock. Is there two AA batteries with the lock back on and it’s good to go.

The motion sensor is very responsive, almost too responsive. You can trigger it from about a foot away, which makes it truly hands-free and ideal for disposing of sanitary or feminine products.

One thing I discovered is that the placement is very important. Initially, I had a facing the toilet bowl and the reflection of the sensor light in the dark would constantly trigger the trashcan to open. After turning in 90° so that it wasn’t facing the toilet, the issue disappeared, and it now works perfectly.

It comes with fitted bags that are perfect for the trashcan and it is very convenient with the drawstring.

My husband also loves this trashcan and it’s one of those upgrades that once you have, it’s hard to go back.

The lid rises fast and it is easy to use. The batteries are easy to put in and the trashcan is easy to clean and disinfect. The trashcan is very stable and doesn't move when you put in trash.

It is very high quality 2.6 Gallon plastic trash can with sensors. It comes with 25 trash bags which fits perfectly. Lid opens instantly with wave of your hands or knee and auto shut after 3 secs. You can hold on sensor to keep it open for longer time. I am planning to use it in my office because of its slim and sleek design. Another plus point is it has in-built night light for nighttime use. It is very easy to clean and will highly recommend it to give it a try.

Even though the material is plastic, it feels sturdy and has a very clean look. I found the sensor opening to be very sensitive, so the lid responded quickly without me having to touch anything. It makes almost no noise when it operates, which makes it feel much higher quality. Overall, it is very easy to use and is a great upgrade for a small office, bedroom, or bathroom. It's sanitary because it has a lid that is motion activated so you don't have to touch anything and the lid keeps everything covered nicely. It came with everything needed out of the box including trashbags! It was easy to assemble. It is sturdy.

I have minor quibbles with the opening and how slow it is/how it’s not very ergonomically minded for when you are already holding trash, but it’s not a huge deal. 

Lid opens and closes itself, trash bag fits nicely and the inner lid helps to completely enclose the bag within the bin, so it doesn’t stick out. Easy to use, lightweight, inconspicuous, good for small spaces. I really like it!
