Gandhi Appliances is the worst store I have ever met in U.S. Save your money and stay away from this company. If you really need a converter, try to get it from Amazon or Walmart DIRECTLY, you will get better customer service and much more friendly return policy.
Last year when I moved from NY to Singapore, I got a brand new T-2000 from Gandhi Appliances on Waltmart.com. However, this product only lasted for one day then stopped working in Singapore. What I tested on this product are one 60W table lamp, 10W hair trimmer charger and 3W WIFI AP (I bought this for my TV and Audio set which are still in transit). 
Then I tried to contact Gandhi Appliances to get my refund. The support staff first suggested that there was a power surge damaged it. I asked how can a power surge destroy a well-produced 2000W converter but leave other appliances survived??? By the way, Singapore is a highly developed city-state with advanced power system. It is not like you are going to a jungle in amazon, you may experience so-called power surge. Then the support staff ask me to send this 10 pounds heavy converter from Singapore to IL for repair at my own expense! 
This is Voltage converter that means it is supposed to be used out of U.S. Gandhi Appliances must know how to help customer deal this kind of quality issue in overseas. Or they should not sell this product! 
Anyway, this is a typical company which cares only profit more than their customer. I used both Amazon and Walmart for 5 years in U.S. I never had any problem in return. Every time I felt I was respected in the returning process.
