Colors are rich and accurately represented.

Can be exceptional with genuine cartridges, but inferior with generics.

Quality and color of the ink is very good.  Bright color with no smearing or shadowing.  However, you need to note that only the black ink is XL.  THE COLORED INK IS NOT and you get very little print value out of the colored ink cartridges.  Very few pages can be printed with the color cartridges.
