My oven would not turn off, due to a burned out oven/heating element. A very dangerous issue.
I inspected the heating element and discovered that it was burned out in a couple of places causing a electrical issue.
After doing some research, I decided to purchase one online from Walmart.
I was amazed that the total cost including shipping was less than $17.00.
Shipping was fast.
Two screws is all that it took to take the old one out and put the new one in.
I now have my oven back and am back to baking.
Much easier than replacing the whole stove.
Very pleasant experience.

Heating Element

I was shocked that this piece was so easy to find on the Walmart app after often having to jump through hoops at the local appliance store to get parts, and then pay them a good deal more for the inconvenience. It was also easy for me, a mechanical ignoramus, to install. It works perfectly.

Easy

It works fine to replace part %23 WB44X5081, which may not be available. No instructions came with the item. FIRST! Go to circuit breaker box, and turn off power to the stove. Be careful removing the existing heating element. After removing screws on the metal panel of the existing heating element, be sure to attach a clip to each wire before disconnecting them, to allow recent them from falling down into the back of the stove. If they fall, the entire stove will have to be pulled out to retrieve them! Easily unscrew the 2 wires from the heating element. Screw in the new heating element to the 2 wires. Then, screw the metal panel back onto the stove with the 2 new screws. Turn back on the circuit breaker. Done!

This replacement element was an exact fit and easy to install (just 3 screws). Our oven is working well again, just in time for the holidays.

Exact fit as advertised at a fraction of "Factory" part. Installs in minutes. Always check Volts / Watts and "mounting" dimensions. Shape may vary. This product however is an exact replacement.

Exact fit at the best price!

I expected to pay almost four times as much for a genuine GE part. This after-market replacement part fit well, was easy to install, seems to be reasonable quality, was delivered to the local store a couple of days sooner than I expected, and was easy to pick up at the store. Only time will tell how good the quality is, but after three weeks it's going strong. Given the expected future use/life of this oven, this was the right choice for me. If it was a brand new oven that I just purchased last year and expected to keep for the next 20, I might have gone for an OEM part.

Easy install, great price, reasonable quality

I bought this for someone who needed one they said it works great now but they had to file the ends down a little and the stickers where hard to get off. But for the price of $14 when the other place wanted $65 was awesome and it the long run it did work

It was cheap

When I put in the model number of my oven, it gave me this option for the element.  When it arrived, I was so excited because I was going to be able to do Thanksgiving dinner.  It was the wrong size, so needless to say, Thanksgiving was a bust.  :(
