Great quality and good sturdy weight and balance! Only drawbacks are the lamp is taller than expected, so have to stand up from my armchair to turn it on... and the switch is a bit awkward for my aging hands to turn on and off, but I'll get used to it! :) . 
Overall, I'm very pleased with the appearance, quality, sturdiness and performance of this lovely floor lamp... and it was easy to assemble! BONUS!
