These are high quality, heavy rubber ramps that do not smell. I was afraid of buying something that smelled bad for a long time--not these ramps. It was relatively easy to trim it to custom-fit my parents' sliding glass door threshold. I used a good flip-open box cutter knife for the first cut and then went deeper with a longer bladed sharp knife. They seem to stay in place well, though as a precaution I anchored the outside ramp to a deck with the two screws that came with the ramp. On the inside of the house I did not anchor the ramp and that has worked fine so far. I liked that they are tapered on the sides so it is harder to trip on them if you are walking near it.

This worked great at (2) of our doors where we wanted to be ADA compliant. They trimmed very easy, look professional, and were easy to install. Being in Portland, OR we are very happy how slip resistant they are, highly recommend for anyone wanted to "smooth" out a step/trip hazard.

Threshold Ramp

I got the height I needed but not width. Do people have that big of a front door? Thankful I know people who can cut mats down to size we need. Never knew about these mats - great product! Makes getting in/out of the house easy and safe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ramp is extremely well made!! We use this ramp in our morgue to transfer people from one room to another and was finding the edge lifting up. We sealed it down to the floor with a doorway strip and it works exactly how we intended it to work.

Doorway ramp

wonderful product. when ordering it I thought it a little pricy but after put it on the floor & trimming along the wall it has proved to be excellent. It stays in place & isn't in the way. I didn't anchor it to the floor & haven't had the need to secure it. Thanks for a great product. Mike T.

Transitions Rubber Angled threshold ramp- brown 1 1/2"

This ramp is awesome, makes my life so much easier. It does the job for me on my scooter, stays in place without hardware, and is decorative. It has had no negative effect on people walking in and out of my house. Most of them don't even notice it's there.

Just the right size

The easy angle threshold ramp gave much needed access into my brother's front door. It allows him to easily go from his front porch through his front door. Without the threshold ramp he had to back through his doorway. This allows him to enter straight through, making it easy to get through both his screen door and his main door as well---without any assistance. It was easy to order over the phone. We were able to choose a color that coordinated with his home. And, it arrived in only 2 days.....the same day he returned from rehab! Thanks so much for making such a beautiful and useful product.

What a help!

I bought the 2" Solid Rubber Threshold Ramp and it fit perfectly right out of the box. It smells a little like a new tire but it's outside on porch so it will air out quick. Thanks
