Less is more with this product- I have a Whirlpool dishwasher and gave this product a try- literally TWO drops (each about dime size) in the main wash and the prewash is all it takes! Even greasy dishes come out clean. Yes, it is a newer dishwasher (which I am sure helps) but this product got everything as clean as the name brands- without etching glassware or knives!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited at the low price, I bought 5 bottles of this stuff! Unfortunately, it just doesn't clean dishes well at all in the dishwasher. On top of that, the rinse aid dries on the stuck-on food, making your dish chore twice as hard when you have to scrub them by hand, using double the amount of water and chemicals to get them clean. I gave it two stars, because if you use it to hand-wash easy (already fairly clean) dishes like cups, plates and bowls it does a pretty good job. So the remaining bottles took the place of dawn dish soap at the sink. You can use it there if you like, but find something else for the dishwasher. (I like method smart dish pink grapefruit automatic dishwasher tablets. Now THAT'S a 5 star product!)
