Not happy that it did not include anything to actually make! It had to be bought separately and packaging wasn’t clear about that either.  I bought my niece a toy she couldn’t use!  😔

I was so excited about this product when I found it online, but unfortunately ended up being so disappointed when I actually tried to use it. If you're thinking about buying this for a younger child (my daughter is 5) you're going to end up doing all the work yourself. To start, not one mix comes with it - so be sure to purchase those separately with this if you do so. It takes hours just to get the tray to freeze to even begin making the "ice cream". In the end you end up with a thick creamy glop that tastes nothing like ice cream at all. Super bummed. Sadly would not recommend.

Cheaper and easier to just buy ice cream :)

This is my honest review, you can literally buy a bigger pan to do the same thing for less than half/half the cost of this thing. And the perk is you don’t have to buy a refill package. We tried it and bought multiple refills, followed the directions to a T and what we got was far from ice cream both times. Got it for my daughter for her birthday and its sat since then because of the other pan that is actually rolled ice cream and isn’t full of artificial junk. I feel like some of the reviews are misleading because it’s people that haven’t even opened it yet. Lol

Bad.

The product did not work. It was not cold enough to make into ice cream despite leaving it in the freezer for more than 7 hours. (7 hours as described in the instruction manuel) this was a Christmas. My 7 year old niece said ..”why is it called freezy bake. It should’ve been called a scam”

Disappointed

Didn’t come with any starter packs and they didn’t have any in the stores. So what started as a great Christmas gift is still kit sitting until we get some packs to create with. And you have to let the tray freeze for hours before you can play. Kids don’t have this much patience

Not good for impatient kids

If you're expecting the same Easy Bake quality from your childhood forget it! We purchased the Easy Bake oven and ice cream maker for our daughter's Christmas gifts. both are complete worthless junk!! The oven didn't even work and the ice cream maker doesn't  make icecream.

SAVE YOUR MONEY

This was a Christmas gift and I was very excited to see a brand from my childhood that I could gift to my child to make with her. From the start, the batter was extremely thick like cake batter, when you put it on the frozen pan to freeze it, it does not freeze. It’s a big disappointing mess. The flavor is also horrendous (bought all three to try) and nothing like ice cream. Huge waste of money and time!

Save your money, very disappointing!

This product sucks. After freezing the cold part for 7 hours, it didn’t even freeze one batch of the ice cream. I followed the instructions perfectly and the vanilla packet never froze, was too thick to work with or eat. And tasted like cake batter. It was a slimy mess. Kids don’t want to wait an hour at a time for it to freeze again, take it out, not work, pop it back in the freezer… for gross “ice cream” very disappointing.

Don’t waste your money

I bought 2 of these for granddaughters. It was a complete mess!  Did not make ice cream. Girls were disappointed!  Ice cream mix does not come with the easy freezy and had to be purchased separately. Once the tray is filled with salt water it has to stay in freezer for 7 hours!!!  Then it absolutely did not make anything!  So so disappointed.

This product is is a waste of money. I’ve tried multiple batches and flavors. I’ve measured according the instructions and the ice cream mix is sweet and gooey. It barely freezes. You can only do one batch at a time. It takes over 7 hours to make.

I bought this my 10 year old great granddaughter for her birthday.   She loved it and even made ice cream for the whole family for breakfast.  Everyone thought it was great and she was so proud.
