The fact that your getting a controller that looks and feels premium for less that £50 is insane, your getting tri mode connectivity, Hall effect joysticks, triggers with easy to switch to trigger locks and 4 programmable back buttons and of course way to control RGB. Build quality is solid, ergonomics feel great in my hands so for less than £50 there's nothing to complain about here.?

I want to preface this with I used Elite and Elite V2 controllers for years.The X20 feels premium. The plastics used are quality and stiff, I cant get this thing to flex. No off-gassing either! 

Good texturing on the rear buttons and triggers/shoulders. Body has nice feel and a lighter texturing helps with grip. Front grip is a nice with semi soft grippy rubbery material. No palm sweat in my week of use! 

Buttons are really nice. Elite/xbox buttons feel mushy and delayed. The X20 feels good with the nice responsive click. Turbo buttons are a great touch.

Sticks feel very nice and snap back is just where I want it speed wise. Sticks have a nice resistance that feels smooth. 

My only notes would be that its very light. That might be me, I am use to the heft of an Elite V2. The battery is also a bit small for my tastes, but that is also because of my past with Elite controllers only. 

But for the price of an Elite, compared to the price X20 It is a no brainer. Throw in the QOL improvements and it would be a mistake not to buy it. This sounds dumb, but I look forward to using it and that is not something Ive experienced before

TLDR; Amazing controller which should suit most people.

The EasySMX X20 is absolutely amazing and definitely one of the best controllers in its class.
 
The Hall-Effect joysticks are definitely one of the high points along with the triggers which are so smooth.

The controller also feels great to hold and use thanks to the texture added to both the controller grips and the triggers.

Face buttons are nice, smooth and clicky.

The programmable buttons on the back are also a nice touch.

The only thing that subtracts from the experience just a tiny bit is the D-pad. It's a great feeling D-pad, honestly it's one of the best feeling D-pads if used for most modern games and platformers. However, as I'm playing extremely input-heavy and hard platformers such as "kaizo" Super Mario World, my demands for a D-pad may be a bit higher. In this case the concave shape of the D-pad may make it easier to end up pushing up/down when quickly wiggling from left to right. This is more of a me problem though (but if this controller had a D-pad similar to the Wii U Pro I don't think I'd ever need any other controller in my life, EasySMX please do this, I'd love this so much). 

So, unless your needs are extremely specific like mine, you shouldn't let this scare you away. This controller is great value.

'- Very comfy and ergonomic to hold, even for longer sessions.
- No stick drift.
- Fast wireless connection, no noticeable input delay. USB C wire is long.
- Battery is very good, lasts long.
- Buttons, bumpers and triggers feel amazing, the short distance and long distance trigger settings are very nice too.
- Looks amazing too, the LED's are super good too.
- Amazing value for the features included.

The controller for the price is fantastic. It feels great in the hands, works amazing, looks great. Although I do think it has a few flaws. The joysticks that you can take off, come off a bit to easily; I often found myself accidently flicking them off. another flaw is there is no clear OFF button. By far the biggest flaw this controller has is there is no clear way to see the battery percentage, and the battery life is somewhat lacking. The controller definitely has its flaws but for the price, you are getting an amazing controller. I would definitely recommend.

The wireless connectivity and long battery life add to the convenience. Everything works great; the only thing missing is a dedicated mobile app to manage settings and updates more easily.

First of all I like the controller for the price range, but I do got a few points that I would like to see addressed when looking for an upgrade;
-The plastic around the usb-c on the controller is just a mm too tight to fit my other cables, other than the one provided (intentional?)
- The softest vibration still feels way too hard, and uncomfortable to the point I disabled it altogether (comparing to the switch pro)
- The dongle setup suffers from interference from other wifi devices tablets/phones, not sure if it has to do with the battery but it feels like the lower the battery the more (often) it struggles. 
- The battery could do with an upgrade I think it lasts 20h now? It's nice and sufficient, but I'm not sure how it will develop when/if it degrades over time.
- All the buttons give a click when pressed, it would be nice if it would be more silent.
- personally my hands are a bit bigger and would like a slightly bigger, and heavier controller.

They joysticks are constantly coming off. It hasn't even been a month and I already lost one. They are also hard to press and hold down while playing a game. Sometimes the letter buttons don't register. It feels nice and looks nice, but isn't functionally the greatest.

I wrote to EasySMX about the following issues but I got no reply back.
I bought my Easy SMX X20 controller about a month ago and unfortunately I'm really disappointed with it. I've been having some pretty frustrating issues.

The main problem is that the joystick keeps popping out while I'm playing games. It's really annoying because I have to stop what I'm doing and search around for it every time it happens. It makes it basically impossible to play anything without getting interrupted.

Also, about a week now the RT button is glitching out. It keeps acting like I'm pressing it even when I'm not touching it, which messes up my gameplay. Since the RT button is glitching, some controllers provide software so that you adjust the range of the RT/LT triggers, but unfortunately there is nothing like that here. 

Now I need to go buy another controller.
