Ease Of Installation

Installation takes minimal time and effort.

Can supply hot water to multiple fixtures at once.

Excellent, after install. Had difficulty only in finding 1/2" to 3/4" water connection fittings; most hardware stores claimed they only stock 3/4" for water heaters. Convenient light weight, attractive, easy to use, very affordable. Eccotemp staff onsite in Summerville, SC extremely helpful.

we love this water heater. it works like a dream this is our second for our camper although i will say the first one worked better it got hot in 30 minutes the one that we have now takes about an hour and it's not the water temp we live in the deep south nothing is comfortable here not even the cold water

The Eccotemp EM 7.0 gallon electric mini tank works good in this cold temp in Chicago IL.  (-2C / 25F) they give to us extra hot water.

It's a good unit, easily handled by a 20 amp circuit.  My old water heater at our cabin was a 2 gallon, under sink model which drew 1500 watts.  This one is 7 gallons, and uses 1440 watts.  The water takes a little longer to warm up, but with 7 gallons in the tank it lasts a lot longer before it kicks in again.  For normal hand and dish washing it's more than adequate for our small cabin.  I should be able to get a reasonable shower out of it also, once I get it installed.  The only drawback to me is the lack of a drain plug so I can empty it before shutting down the cabin for winter.  I'll have to disconnect it, and bring it outside to turn it over.  It will be quite heavy completely full, so I'll try blowing or siphoning out what I can.  My opinions may change after I attempt this the first time, but for now I'm satisfied with it.

Good little Unit

Rather than have a central water heater, we have them at showers wash basins, sinks and washing machine. We have timers so you start the timer and in 1 minute you can feel the heat, and in 3 minutes it has cycled off. That way you save the energy of having hot water all the time. plus the energy of having to fill the pipes all the way from the water heater to the bathroom with hot water, only to let it cool off when you are done. You save the water it takes for the hot water to arrive, plus the time it takes for the hot water to arrive.

SAVE WATER TIME AND MONEY

Great unit, works and looks fantastic!!  Been up and running for a few days now and is quite  convenient.  Was pretty easy to install and provides instant hot water to our kitchen in our cabin.  Plenty of nice hot water to do dishes, a small load of laundry, or a quick shower!  The only slight problem, though it was easy enough to figure out the instructions were lacking quite a bit.  The manual doesn't even say what size the connectors on top are. They're 1/2” incase anyone's wondering...  Other than that I can't complain.  It's a nice water heater, and we got a great deal with free shipping included. Thanks!

This works very well. Hot water quick! A lot bigger than what I expected.

if you have to reset it due to loosing power you have to unhook it take the bottom off it needs a reset button on top not happy I returned it
