This rower is well built, smooth and quiet.  I already have the Echelon Bike so there was no extra money spent on a subscription

Had it for a month after having the bike for 6 months. Its perfect addition to the bike giving an all over workout. Well made and wisper quiet. You able to change the resistance right from the handlebars, so no stopping to switch.The Facebook community is amazing and makes this one of the best purchases. You do need a tablet or at least a phone to stream the classes.

Great Rower, but the live classes make it the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product is very sturdy.

Overall, the quality and build of the rower is top notch. This rower is comparable to the Concept 2 that everyone loves. The only reason why I the rating loses a star is for the app connectivity. Buyers beware! The 90 day trial is only for Echelons lower tier work outs. ($12.99) If you'd like the same interaction as Peloton and access to live classes you will need to upgrade to their $40 plan, if not you can stay at the base, and do “free row” but it will not track leaderboard etc. Nowhere on the box or build manual does it state this information which is frustrating but after speaking to customer service their silence clarified everything. After upgrading to their top tier plan, it is definitely worth it. The classes have a good enough variety that make it fun, and I don't have to worry about any 3rd party apps to track any of my metrics. I can say wholeheartedly Echelon has a great product but can definitely improve on customer service and transparency of what you're getting from this product as far as app interaction and the LIVE mode. This is great alternative instead of spending the $1,500-$2,300 on a rogue rower. Hope this was helpful !

Echeclon Quality Build

A good value and good workouts if you're in the echelon ecosystem. Resistance buttons are built right into the handle, which is great.

Good machine for the price

Love my smooth, quiet and confrontable rowing machine. I have tried a lot of rowers, and this is far the best one. Love the finger control for resistance . 
 Negative reviews of the "aggressive angle" of the rowing handle are silly. The big issue I have is, I have had to reconnect the WIFI to my rower every other workout. Additionally, had to make two separate calls to Echelon to get my rower set up properly (outdated firmware and INTERNECT CONNECTION!) during set up. 

I purchased my rower as an open box which saved a lot of money. The rower has quite a few cosmetic issues, striped screws, front metal roller for strap has a large ding in it and a large cracked plastic frame, but it works beautifully. 

The only suggestion I have for a better rowing experience is to add 1) connectivity to my cellphone for music, 2) watch Prime Videos on the screen 3) have some interactive racing games included in the workout menu.

The app is an outrageous scam. With some ridiculous workarounds you can get it to work, although it will set you up to renew subscription no matter how hard you cancel. The actual machine works pretty decent

Machine is decent, the app is utter scam

I purchased this rower when the latest restrictions came out for the second wave, pretty excited to receive the rower and for the most part it seems like a quality machine. The only challenge I have is that the distance metrics are completely off compared to every other rowing machine I have used.

I gave an extra star for the surprising build quality but am taking off the rest because support refuses to answer my support request around the issues I am having. If you get a rower with no issues, you should be good but if you get one that you need help with, you are left on your own.

decent build quality, poor customer service

It arrived with a bad power supply and the manufacturer doesn't have them in stock. I tested it by using the power supply from my Peloton bike and it came on. The seat feels a little awkward, but it's not too bad.

Arrived broken and no parts in stock

I have had issues with using Connect on this unit since it did an update. I am able to connect but only in manual use mode or competitive mode, but once I switch to the Connect mode with the work out videos the system cannot find the Row machine. Disappointed to say the least.
