[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I inquired from a dealer what product they used for a bottom finish on boats they were applying. I told him i was doing a small repair on bottom he told me to just get a gray expoxy paint, that's what they used called gator bottom.

It is pretty amazing stuff. A little difficult to apply. I would recommend using a putty knife if you are looking for an even coat. I went heavier in some spots than others and I used a foam roller and a brush. Surface preparation is a must. If you get the surface right, this stuff will adhere and give you a sealed coat of armor. I used it for my 14 ft Jon boat bottom. 2-3 2lb cans will do that depending on how thick you spread it. Great product. I would definitely use it again.

Amazing goop is amazing

I bought this epoxy to seal the rivets on the outside and inside of my aluminum boat.  The epoxy is easy to use but you have only about 30 minutes, depending on outside temperature, to use this as it starts to become hard to move around as it sets.  I used a stiff paintbrush that I cut down to about 1" long hairs to push the epoxy into and around the seams and rivets.  Once the epoxy cured, it was hard as a rock and sealed everything!  My boat no longer has leaks.  I was able to easily paint over it with a few layers of marine paint.  I'm very excited about how it all turned out.
