But it does soften up in time. These are perfect for allergy sufferers and great for protection for your pillows.

I bought these pillow protectors at the same time I bought the matching mattress protector.  Both are excellent quality products!  Cotton-like fabric that's substantial enough to do the job! Good zippers and good fit after you wash them. They're worth the price.
